ive seen a lot of casual players use melee being unbalanced as their point of criticism against the game a lot and im just thinking like
why
why would you even think about game balance as a casual player, i thought tier lists didnt matter to casual players?
im currently hyperfixating over the fighting alloy team, so i did fan designs of extra members
cloned off of ike and lucario respectively
even tho im a gba soundchip (or lack thereof a soundchip) enjoyer, i genuinely cannot stand listening to the renditions of the mother 1 part of the ost of mother 1+2, the percussion is way WAY worse and a lot of the synths are really really grating if im listening to it with headphones
idk how ppl praised banjo for like decades and clamored for him in smash, i tried to play banjo and kazooie a few months ago and all i could think of was "why cant i move faster"
most iconic melee track like ever tbh
kinda shame that it can't play on fountain of dreams even though you fight marth on that stage to unlock him with that music playing, it would've been absolutely sick to hear this play in tournaments
still great for the mayhem that is temple tho

i always find it funny when people get so angry over taunting in smash bros, i saw someone in a discord server saying that taunting should have been disabled in every online mode, not just quickplay
its your problem if you get butthurt over two second animations in a video game
also its kinda funny to me cause i play street fighter third strike a lot and taunts actually give you very minor buffs, like more damage in combos and getting more defense, it's crucial to characters like Q, and dudley who tosses a rose that can be used to set up mixups in the corner when the opponent is waking up from a knockdown
i cant believe the spongebob plat fighter lets you actually do things with your meter and not smash ultimate

i had a dream last where i was at my freshman high school and people were solving the case of a haunting thats been going on there
apparently, the kid from the "lebron jame" vine had died in it and is now haunting the place and hes been appearing in stairways and was saying his iconic catchphrase "lebron jame"
it eventually got to a point where we followed him into the gym before he let out a very deeply pitched "lebron jame" and then he slowly morphed into an akira-type giant mass of flesh and body horror before i woke up -
