Continuing from that last post, when people talk about a "celebration of gaming" Smash, I feel they don't realise that such a thing - if achieved correctly - wouldn't just be "MASTER CHIEF VS KRATOS VS MARIO VS INSERT YOUR CHOICE OF VALVE REP HERE OMG but no ness and captain falcon 
" - but instead a quarter of the roster being comprised of characters from games that never got released in America, an even bigger chunk being F2P and mobile game characters, 3 separate abstract 70s spaceships as playable fighters, Minecraft Alex as a fully unique fighter, the Nintendo representation being almost entirely things like Brain Training and Nintendogs, Giant Enemy Crab and All Your Base jokes, and a complete neglect for fan demand.
Of course, I know this and still want such a game anyway. We are not the same.
