While I don't believe most of the stuff I used to say about the "Mario mandates" anymore, I will at least say that I do still believe that Ashley would be the perfect "floodgates" character to introduce spin-off characters to Mario multiplayer games.
- Already a fan favourite to die hard Mario fans
- Distinct theming that can be understood from a quick glance at the character design - spooky tracks and characters are already popular in Mario Kart.
- A non-clone female character, and a character who's the age of the target demographic.
- Unique personality that can be easily communicated through animations in a sports game
Y'all know that when the 2010s babies grow up, they'll be asking for the return of self-deprecating humour and redemption arcs, right?

EAC has two Super Mario RPG characters, and neither of them are Geno.

I had a dream where Behind the Meme came back and menacingly announced he would do a video on Lario, providing a ransom to prevent the video from being released.
One thing I feel I should mention about Echoes in EAC is that I'm 100% open to stance change echoes (so Diddy's echo being Dixie, but with a stance change into Kiddy as a DK echo for example) - I'll allow both, individual and stance change echoes for Pokémon Trainer and Pythra, but for voting's sake you'll still need to provide a single one of the 3 characters for them to be tied to.
We're submitting assist trophy functions and back specials for Zero Suit Samus and Wario! Plus we're voting on both's echoes (with Wario's options being Booster, Penny, and a Pinky from Doom; while ZSS' options are the composited "Half-Suit Samus"; a genderswapped variant; and Jill of Resident Evil) and Wario's stage. (Should we add a Wario Land throwback, or play into the Robotnik resemblance with a classic Sonic toon stage?)

I find it funny how - sans the completely logical Fantasia and rubberhose cartoon references - most of the references to specific Mickey universe media in Kingdom Hearts are the most random things ever. There's no Goofy Movie; Mickey and the Beanstalk; Oswald the Lucky Rabbit; or Rescue Rangers representation, but they have an entire 3 Musketeers world; Mickey's Toontown; and a boss battle based on the banned Runaway Brain cartoon.
It annoys me when YouTubers will mention someone who got into a controversy (or something created by them) off-handedly and feel the need to bring up their controversy for no reason. You know you can just say "in 1990, The Simpsons passed The Cosby Show in ratings" and be done with it, right? Nobody's gonna think you endorse date **** because you skipped the "by the way, screw Bill Cosby" at the end. Or just be creative, like... I dunno "Seems OJ wasn't the worst drink to be associated with the Simpson name that decade!" ba dum tsh
It's always weird to think that games released really early into decades existed - and in some cases were played by people - the decade prior... like, Super Smash Bros. Melee existed (as a GDD) in the 90s. Damn.

I can understand not liking that Toy Story 4 and Frozen 2 don't have conventional villains given the franchises' track records, but I think complaining about a lack of villains in Encanto or Strange World is kinda ridiculous since those are original IPs specifically designed around not having villains.
I think my favourite picks for NASB guests (not counting - and assuming we already have - Nickelodeon characters with licensing issues like Timmy) are Danger Mouse (Nickelodeon's first cartoon icon, so popular for the channel pre-Nicktoons they had to do a promo announcing his exit when they lost the rights) and Heathcliff (Garfield rivalry, aired on Nickelodeon) - unlike a Dreamworks character, I can't imagine these two being that hard gets, both's shows are on Paramount+, and both have really good moveset potential (though in the case of Heathcliff I think the moveset would have to lean more in the direction of modern Dada Heathcliff than classic Heathcliff - I definitely wouldn't consider Heathcliff if Garfield weren't in the game though.)

Maybe this is just a case of me not really being an RPG guy, but I really don't get the demand for VA in Pokémon. Part of the fun of the RPGs I do enjoy is imagining character voices. I remember listening to some of the Pokémon Masters voice lines and thinking "this is not how I expected this character to sound"

I really wish Saberspark did more of his calm "animation history" videos. Stuff like his new Family Guy video, the Rugrats video, and the VeggieTales video are absolutely incredible, but he's adamant on doing videos raging about bargain bin movies and shows that are only known for a single vaguely-conventionally-attractive-but-not-at-all-revealing side character design.

If Sony was involved in Ultimate, I absolutely would've submitted some form of Blu Ray-related content to EAC.
Nobody has asked for Goku in Smash in earnest for over a decade yet the idea still puts people into an insane rage for same reason.

I was expecting to hate this video, but actually really enjoyed it (body horror TW)
It's like the opposite of the subverted kids' show: the subverted adults' show - you keep expecting something bad or edgy to happen with all the eyeballs; bones; robots; and such as well as the general origin of it being commissioned by Adult Swim, but you eventually let your guard down and it's just pleasant.
Bumpers only is the optimal "one item only" setup in Smash. -
