Doing more than 3 votes for DriDim can be a pain in calculations. but I also think it has made the lineup of franchises and the content within way more varied and interesting.
I'm looking through FanEdit.org, and is it just me or are 60-to-70% of these just "we removed all the jokes from this kids' movie"?
I actually kinda like the idea of Plank in Multiversus - basically a throwable item in place of a fighter, but his player can time button presses to deal extra damage or avoid reflection/destruction - with some kind of penalty for his ally should they miss - perhaps with some extremely limited movement like flipping over or jumping straight upwards.

I've always disliked the concept of Smash support fandom "alliances". It's just gatekeeping disguised as being welcoming. On the outside it's "Waluigi and Isaac fans should team up!" but on the inside it's pretty clearly - by intent or otherwise - "If you don't also want Waluigi, you're not really on Isaac's team." or vice versa.
The funniest satirical lie in Dunkey's new video is certainly "Donkey Kong was the first platformer".
Imagine if the Wario Land/Yoshi's Island naming scheme stuck around. Imagine the vitriol aimed at the announcement of "Super Mario Galaxy 3: Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker"
I like how the Panda Cup's Twitter banner only features like 3 characters people actually play as at a high level per game featured (not a diss towards competitive Smash players, mind you, moreso a diss towards Nintendo, who probably either made the assets or provided the style guide on which characters should feature, for being out-of-touch)
Disney's "Intercats" show doesn't feel like it came out too late but rather too early. It's like if Wreck-It Ralph came out in 2006, you're long past the "that's old and stupid!" phase, and almost reached the nostalgia zone for the subject matter - but you've still gotta hold it off a little.

I had a dream where a Teletubbies Kart game came out, and it was legitimately good enough to stand toe to toe with CTR, and I had to fruitlessly convince people of how good it is like my experiences with CTR and NASB cranked to 20.
I'm playing through NES Chip N' Dale right now, and most of the bosses thus far have made me say "hey, that inspired insert 2010s 2D platformer here!" Owl boss = owl boss in Tropical Freeze, Robot mouse boss = Tinker Knight in Shovel Knight, Spaceship boss = toy container eggmobile in Sonic Mania.
There was a relatively soon DriDim mid-voting job I wanted to submit Tesco for, to the point of designing all the items in advance, but I feel it'd be best to space out product placement picks (more so than any other medium) so I'll have to come up with something else.
I'm honestly really glad to find out the Mario movie trailer theme (probably) won't be in the movie. -
