    Oh God, I loved Specter Inspector (and MP8 as a whole). I don't think it could be too much different from Luigi's Mansion, but if the stage you submitted makes it in, I would be more than happy.
    I've recently been thinking about my ideal (albeit incredibly unrealistic) Smash story mode again. I tried to run it as a Creation Thread a long time ago, but I abandoned it after like the third job because the winning submission was veering a long ways away from my vision and I was too pathetic to speak up about the submission not being acceptable...I do still feel bad about that.

    I do want to try and restart the thing but I feel like people don't grasp the idea I have, and I feel bad about this because I just really like this idea and want to be able to take it places.

    Is it just me or have Google Chrome ads taken over 95% of YouTube videos

    I can't complain cause it's billions of times better than constant makeup ads assaulting me and my inexplicable disgust for makeup
    I've never liked how Smash mods like to replace Bowser's series symbol with his own logo. I admit it looks pretty cool, but it just doesn't make any sense. The only reason DK, Yoshi, and Wario got their own symbols separate from Mario is because they have their own full spinoff franchises that don't really connect to Mario very often (Yoshi tends to stretch that, but in general it still works). Bowser doesn't have anything like that. There has never been a true "Bowser game," and even if there was one I doubt it would be enough to justify him getting a new symbol (I mean, it's not like we made a "Super Princess Peach series"). I'm totally fine with Smash Remix giving Dr. Mario his own symbol, though. And that actually just made me realize that Dr. Mario is really the only true "spinoff" character in Smash...which is kind of interesting and actually makes me appreciate the guy a bit more.
    I hate that I'd have to pay this website just to change my username. While I really don't hate my username, I would like it if I could switch it to something that doesn't get me misgendered all the time.

    I mean, it's pretty fair though, I made this account like two years or so before I got out of my trans denial phase...
    I really want to make an original stage for the Mario Smash Thread but all of my ideas feel like they won't qualify because they keep making heavy use of things that I definitely didn't make up myself

    For instance, I have this idea for a "Wrong Warp" stage where characters are flung down a warp pipe that gets broken, sending them all flying off into a void that cycles through scenes of glitches and other oddities (like the Hell Valley Sky Trees)

    But I feel like it's too much like Minus World to qualify

    This is me hoping to remind myself to try and submit Dino Run and Stick Fight content to All-Star Strife whenever I get a logical opportunity to do so

    Also, just throwing it out there, do you think VRChat would qualify for this thread?
    I feel like a bit of a hypocrite sometimes as although I really dislike crossover characters being in Mario Kart (even though I adore crossover tracks for whatever reason), I play as the female Villager a lot.

    But then again she’s absolutely adorable, isn’t annoying like a Mii, and actually somewhat resembles my unrealistic transition goals so it might be justifiable…
    One day I started thinking about the real world movies that play on the TVs in Pokemon games, and it got me trying to imagine what certain movies would look like in the Pokemon world. Over the course of multiple months with this idea randomly popping in and out of my head, I've developed a few little concepts of what an Indiana Jones Pokemon game could look like.
    The game is split into two halves. The first is based on The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, in which you will play as a young Indy exploring various regions with his father. You are required to include a Lillipup nicknamed "Indiana" on your team, similarly to the Partner Pokemon in Let's Go. However, this Lillipup can evolve and eventually become Stoutland, and you will be able to catch many other Pokemon along the way to form whatever kind of team you'd like.

    This portion of the game is episodic in nature. Each section takes place in a completely different area in an entirely different region. You will visit all of the mainline regions (except Hisui) and will even get to visit some of the side game regions such as Orre, Oblivia, and Ferrum. There will even be one episode in the Orange Islands. Every episode has different Pokemon you can catch alongside progressing through the short, barely-connected storylines. Some Pokemon can only be caught in certain episodes, so if you miss them, you'll never be able to catch them again. This part of the game does not introduce any new Pokemon, instead strictly sticking to what already exists.

    The plot in this section is minimal, simply just establishing Indy's interest in archaeology and showing him grow up alongside his partner Stoutland. The final episode of this half of the game is actually the opening scene from The Last Crusade, featuring Indy stealing an artifact from members of an evil team, but failing to escape and having it taken back. This portion of the game also includes the scene where Indy falls into a train car filled with Ekans and Arbok, cementing his fear of snake Pokemon. It's notable that despite these Pokemon appearing in the game and even being on certain enemy trainer teams, you can never catch them.

    The second half of the game is split into the four movies' plots, which are still not connected, but they each contain full storylines. The biggest changes you'll immediately notice is that all references to God, Jesus, and Christianity have been replaced with Arceus.

    The first part of the second half is The Temple of Doom, taking place in 1935. Indy is asked by the people of a village in Poke-India (name unconfirmed) to retrieve the Sacred Stone from a palace where the evil Team Thug is found. Team Thug turns out to be a cult worshipping Darkrai, and are sacrificing people and their Pokemon to it. Indy's own Pokemon are captured and brainwashed, forcing him to fight them, but he is able to rescue them. After managing to steal back the Sacred Stone, Indy manages to defeat Team Thug's leaders and return the Stone to its rightful place in a shrine honoring Celebi.

    One year later, Indy is tasked with locating the Arc of the Covenant, an ancient artifact linked to Arceus. However, Indy runs afoul of Team Nazi, who is also searching for the Arc. When the Arc is eventually found, the Team Nazi Grunts open it and reveal a regional Ghost/Fairy Spiritomb, which wipes out everyone but Indy and Marion. Indy then gets to battle and catch this Spiritomb if he wants. This Spiritomb is said to be the polar opposite of the Sinnoh Spiritomb, instead being made from a swarm of holy spirits who were sealed away inside the Arc by Arceus himself in order to protect it from evildoers.

    In 1938, Indy learns that his father, a researcher studying the Arc Grail, has gone missing. He manages to find his father, but the two of them run into Team Nazi again. They race Team Nazi to find the Grail, eventually locating it at the same time. Indy has to fight an ancient knight trainer and his Noble Kleavor for the Grail, but he loses the Grail soon after, as it cannot be removed from its resting place.

    Nineteen years later in 1957, Indy is caught up in a battle against Team Soviet, racing against them to locate a mysterious Crystal. When the Crystal is found, it turns out to be an artifact left behind by Ultra Beasts.
    Well, I was gone for a few days and wasn't really able to keep up with threads. If I don't respond to any creation threads you know I'm in today, I'd appreciate reminders. Cause who knows if the notifications will still be kicking for me.
    Because nobody asked: my headcanon interpretation of the Donkey Kong series

    • In ancient times, various primate tribes begin to live on an island relatively nearby to the future site of the Metro Kingdom. These primates are generally lawless, but they tend to respect whoever has the most bananas. Eventually, a war begins to break out over who should be in control of the bananas. One hero eventually stands up and manages to unite all of the primates under his leadership. This gorilla is named Donkey Kong. Donkey Kong turns out to be a very kind and fair ruler, and all the primates take on the name "Kong" in his honor. Furthermore, the island they live on is named "Donkey Kong Island," and the island's prominent mountain is carved into the shape of Donkey Kong's head.
    • After Donkey Kong grows old, he appoints his son to take control in his stead. This becomes a tradition throughout the generations, with each successive ruler taking on the Donkey Kong name.
    • A prophecy arrives to the Kongs, telling that the original Donkey Kong will one day be reborn and reprise his role as the Island's greatest ruler and hero. They will know it to be him when his face matches the one carved into the mountainside.
    • Donkey Kong
    • Many many many years later, the current Donkey Kong is not known for being the best leader. One fateful day, he decides to visit the mainland, where he accidentally runs afoul of a man named Ossan "Jumpman" Mario and his girlfriend, Pauline. Donkey Kong ends up kidnapping Pauline and taking her to the top of the construction site Jumpman is currently working at as part of his job with the "Wrecking Crew" (a team of construction and demolition experts located in the Metro Kingdom). Jumpman climbs after Donkey Kong and rescues his girlfriend, dropping Donkey Kong on his head in the process. Donkey Kong's brain is expanded in this accident, allowing him to peer past the fourth wall, although as nobody else can comprehend him, he is viewed as having gone insane.
    • Donkey Kong Jr.
    • Jumpman takes Donkey Kong into custody, primarily out of personal revenge. However, Donkey Kong's son, Donkey Kong Jr., manages to fight past Jumpman's traps and rescue his father.
    • Donkey Kong 3
    • Unfortunately, Donkey Kong is still in a sort of blind rage, and he runs off on his own again, finding himself stuck inside of a Greenhouse owned by Stanley the Bugman. Stanley drives Donkey Kong away, and the gorilla swears never to leave his Island again. However, due to being seen as crazy, he is deemed unfit for leadership and the role of Donkey Kong is granted to Donkey Kong Jr., years before his time.
    • Yoshi's Island DS
    • The new Donkey Kong has a son delivered to him by the Stork, the new Donkey Kong Jr. However, Baby DK is kidnapped by Kamek's Toadies and is later rescued by the Yoshi Clan of Yoshi's Island. It is later discovered that Baby DK is one of the Star Children, a group of seven children who are destined to become the most powerful and influential individuals on the planet. Baby DK's destiny is immediately clear to the Kongs...he is the prophesied reincarnation of the original Donkey Kong!
    • Donkey Kong Jr. Math
    • Donkey Kong tries to train his son the best he can to prepare him for his future role as leader. This includes some elaborate math lessons.
    • When Baby DK has officially become Donkey Kong Jr., he and his father visit the Metro Kingdom once more, where a new city has been formed in the place where Jr.'s grandfather went mad. Donkey Kong wants to seek revenge on Jumpman's family for what happened to his father...which leads him to two of Jumpman's three children: Mario and his sister Pauline Jr. Their brother Luigi is absent for unknown reasons.
    • Donkey Kong '94 & Super Mario Kart
    • Donkey Kong and his son kidnap Pauline Jr. and Mario gives chase, but this time they run all across the Metro Kingdom, which has not been fully developed yet at this time. After an intense final showdown, Mario emerges victorious and rescues his sister. But Mario is an incredibly friendly person, and afterwards he manages to make up with the Kongs. He sparks a true friendship with Donkey Kong Jr., which does make sense considering they are both Star Children. Jr. later joins Mario and his friends as a competitor in the very first "Mario Kart" racing tournament.
    • In an unforeseen disaster, Donkey Kong dies. However, before leadership can be turned over to the young Jr., many rebellious Kongs argue that they shouldn't let an inexperience ape rule them for the second time in a row. A civil war breaks out, and the Kongs end up splitting Donkey Kong Island into multiple individual kingdoms. Many Kongs flee the Island and seek refuge elsewhere, including Jr. himself.
    • Donkey Kong Jungle Beat
    • Many years later, when Jr. has grown up, he finally takes on the name of Donkey Kong and fights to restore peace and unity to his Island. He succeeds after defeating the three main rebel Kongs and the mysterious Cactus and Ghastly Kings.
    • While the vast majority of the Kongs perished in the war, a few still remain, They slowly begin returning to the Island from here on. The first two to return are Donkey Kong's grandfather (now known as Cranky Kong) and a chimp named Diddy. DK enlists Diddy as the guardian of the newly formed Banana Hoard.
    • Donkey Kong Country Returns
    • A race of sentient Tiki masks with hypnotic abilities awaken from a millennia of slumber within Donkey Kong Island's volcanic innards. They begin stealing all of the Island's bananas (including the Banana Hoard) in order to awaken their king, Tiki Tong. DK and Diddy (the only creatures on the Island immune to the Tiki's hypnosis) fight back and defeat the Tikis for good. They recover their bananas, and all is well. Over the course of the adventure, DK and Diddy bond and become as close as brothers.
    • Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze
    • A new Kong named Dixie returns to her ancestral home and begins to live alongside DK and Diddy. She and Cranky help Diddy set up a birthday celebration for DK, which is interrupted by the arrival of the Snowmads, a race of Viking conquerors. The Snowmads take over Donkey Kong Island, and the Kongs are forced to fight their way back. Along the way, they come across DK's long-lost brother, Funky Kong, who has been travelling the world to find all the best surfing spots. Funky helps his brother, grandfather, and their friends return to the Island where they defeat the Snowmads' leader, Lord Fredrik. A short while after this, Funky stays on Donkey Kong Island, and another new Kong named Candy arrives.
    • Donkey Kong Country
    • A group of invading crocodiles called the Kremlings invade Donkey Kong Island, believing that since the strongest Kong leaders are gone, they should have free rein. They manage to instate KemKroc Industries on the mountaintop. However, when they discover DK is living there, the Kremlings' leader, King K. Rool, decides to steal the Banana Hoard in order to starve the Kongs to death. The two Kongs set out to defeat K. Rool, and afterwards the Kremlings temporarily retreat.
    • Donkey Kong Country 2
    • K. Rool experiences multiple personalities, and after his defeat has become Kaptain K. Rool. He leads all the Kremlings to become pirates alongside him, and they kidnap Donkey Kong as an act of revenge. Diddy and Dixie team up to travel across Crocadile Isle and rescue him, and along the way they fall in love. As they explore, they also meet Wrinkly Kong (DK's grandmother) and Swanky Kong (DK's other long-lost brother). After facing and defeating Kaptain K. Rool, DK is saved and Crocodile Isle is sunk.
    • Donkey Kong Country 3
    • K. Rool changes personalities again and become Baron K. Roolenstein the mad scientist. However, as the Kremlings no longer respect him, he invents a robot called KAOS to rule in his stead. He kidnaps DK and Diddy to use as living batteries for KAOS. Dixie notices they've gone missing, so she and Funky travel to the Northern Kremisphere to investigate. Once there, they meet Dixie's cousin Kiddy Kong, who teams up with Dixie for the duration of the adventure. After defeating KAOS, it is revealed to just be a pawn, and the Kongs move on to hunt down and defeat Baron K. Roolenstein. The Kremlings retreat once again.
    • DK: King of Swing
    • From here, K. Rool becomes a King again, and resorts to much lesser crimes against the Kongs. In this instance, he simply attempts to steal the medals used for a fun competition the Kongs were participating in amongst themselves, as he believed that they would make him the rightful King of the Island. DK beats him up anyways, even though the Medals didn't actually mean anything.
    • DK: Jungle Climber
    • K. Rool then steals Crystal Bananas from an alien named Xananab. These are the fuel for Xananab's spaceship, and he asks DK and Diddy to retrieve them in an elaborate chase that spans across the universe.
    • Mario vs. Donkey Kong series
    • The Mushroom Kingdom is currently in a peaceful state. Donkey Kong, who has been regularly visiting the mainland for various sports-related purposes, partners with Mario and Pauline Jr. in their latest investment: a Toy Company. The three stage public stunts where DK "kidnaps" Pauline and Mario must use the mini-toys produced by the company to "rescue" her. They hold a new performance every time a new line of Mini-Toys is released.
    • Donkey Kong 64
    • King K. Rool returns once more for revenge, quite some time after his previous loss. At this time, all of the known Kongs have returned to the Island, including Dixie's younger sister Tiny, an orangutan named Lanky, and DK's cousin Chunky. K. Rool builds a new and improved Crocodile Isle that will destroy Donkey Kong Island in a single laser beam, but the incompetence of his minions temporarily disables the weapon. To keep DK busy before he can destroy the superweapon, K. Rool has the Kremlings kidnap his friends and hide his Golden Bananas. After saving his friends and recovering his Bananas, the Kongs storm Crocodile Isle and defeat K. Rool (in his latest personality, King Krusha K. Rool). The Kremlings are supposedly defeated for real now.
    • Diddy Kong Racing DS
    • Diddy receives a letter calling for help from an old friend of his, Timber the Tiger. Timber lives on Timber Island, which is the place where Diddy stayed before moving back to Donkey Kong Island. Timber Island is under attack from the powerful alien wizard Wizpig. Diddy immediately leaves to help his friend, and Dixie and Tiny (who recently experienced a major growth spurt) join him. Diddy, Dixie, Tiny, Timber, and many of Timber's other friends team up to defeat Wizpig and the many Island masters who had been brainwashed. They receive assistance from the mysterious genie Taj, and are eventually able to banish Wizpig.
    • Donkey Konga series
    • DK discovers a pair of magical bongos, and retires from adventuring to become a musician, as he is no longer needed as a hero.
    • Donkey Kong Barrel Blast
    • DK and Funky manage to create "Rocketbarrel Packs" inspired by DK's magic bongos and Diddy's own personal jetpack. They host a racing tournament featuring them and even invite the Kremlings to participate as a sign of goodwill. K. Rool reluctantly accepts, but only because his family manages to force him into it. This is where the Kongs meet K. Rool's sister Kalypso, and her twin children Kip and Kass.
