NEW MARIO STRIKERS HYPE
Switch Sports probably won't be very successful. It should have been a launch title if anything. Honestly, this is like if 1-2-Switch was released today. Also really not digging the Xbox Avatars in a Wii Sports game.

Presenting...another useless dump of ideas for something that will probably never happen! This time, it's a character roster for a Lego Super Mario game!
First, some ground rules...
First of all, I need to make it clear that this game will in fact make use of the style used for the Lego Mario sets, which means there will be very few minifigures on the roster.
Next, about the size of this roster...
Lego games are notable for having amazing gigantic rosters, and the latest entry in the series (The Skywalker Saga) is stated to have about 300 playable characters in total. Based on this, I have decided to pick out an exactly 400-character roster. Sure, it's a lot, but it keeps up with Lego games getting progressively larger casts, and besides...the Mario franchise has a ton of characters to work with.
There will be alternate versions of certain characters, but Powerups will be a core part of gameplay, so you won't have characters like Fire Mario or Cat Peach taking up roster slots.
There will be no guest characters from other Nintendo games. While I do honestly feel like an official Lego Mario game would probably have a few, I just didn't feel like adding any...but don't worry! There will still be some...interesting choices here!

I just learned about the Pac-Store characters. Apparently, the Pac-Man Wiki claims that "Pac-Marie" and "Pac-Little" are actually Ms. Pac-Man and Jr. Pac-Man...I think that makes sense, as they'd wanna "create" "new" "characters" to avoid the stupid copyright garbage they've piled up. But...to be honest, I actually really love these new character designs (Pac-Marie especially) and want to see them come back. But...I want to believe that this Pac-Man is actually just the original Jr. Pac-Man grown older, and Pac-Marie and Pac-Little are his friends...
I will always see Pac-Man as an older man, cause it just fits with his status as THE classic character. He and Ms. Pac-Man are a happily married couple, and now Jr. is here making new friends and very likely getting a girlfriend of his own while working at a store modeled after his father and his adventures...
