Super Smash Bros. has been included in The Game Awards for Best eSports player. This category is presented by Omen and meant to judge the most outstanding performer in 2016, without taking account the game. An award such as this is something HungryBox is very deserving of, having worked to be one of the first sponsored and full time players of the game. It would also be incredibly hype for the Smash community, seeing that it'll garner more eyes to Smash Bros.

Brawl Added to CEO Dreamland Due to 5,000 Retweets

Earlier this week, Jebailey tweeted out that he will add Super Smash Bros. Brawl to CEO Dreamland if a certain tweet received 5000 retweets or more. Thanks to the entire community banding together, that goal has been met and Brawl is now a confirmed part of the CEO Dreamland lineup.

CEO to host Dreamland, a Smash-Focused Spin-Off

The rumors have been confirmed: CEO Gaming's Alex Jebailey has just announced CEO Dreamland for April 14-16, 2017. This new installment in the long-running CEO series focuses specifically on Smash and Smash-related titles. Confirmed games include Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros., Brawlhaha and Rivals of Aether. All games will feature both doubles (on Friday) and singles (Saturday and Sunday) brackets. This tournament will not be replacing Smash at CEO 2017; instead, it is to serve as spin-off in the CEO series.
