Team Misfits has joined the fighting game fray by signing Super Smash Bros. Melee player Ryan "The Moon" Coker-Welch.
The New York native is an active traveller and was one of the best Melee players still waiting to sign with an esports team. Now he will wait no longer.
After a strong showing in the second half of 2016, The Moon was very deserving of a team in support of him. He joins a team with fingers in many parts of the eSports pie, including winning the $30,000 Overwatch tournament at DreamHack Winter.
The Marth main, comfortably one of the best in the world with his character, also came to attention recently at Smash Summit 3 where his easy-going and humorous personality on the commentary couch was one of the highlights.
