Chrom was revealed as a playable character on August 8th but fans will also get to see him in action as Robin's Final Smash, making him the first character with both a playable and a non-playable role.

The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct might have gotten mixed reaction but it does not take away from how incredible of a crossover Ultimate is.

Nintendo was trying to remind us to pay more attention to our health and go to the gym with last week's Smash Blog Updates.

Inspired by recent rumors about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the latest installment in Delzethin's Challenger Approaching series focuses on the wearer of Majora's Mask himself, Skull Kid.

Two trailers for the highly anticipated tournaments, Frostbite 2019 and Full Bloom 5, dropped on October 7th during The Big House 8. These trailers also brought about the news that registration for both events is now open!

The Big House 8 is coming this October 5th-7th at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan and will feature both singles and doubles for Super Smash Bros. 64, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Super Smash Bros. for Wii-U, in addition to those games it’ll also have a playable Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Demo in the venue.

According to amiibo Alerts on twitter Best Buy is restocking on amiibo, it’s unknown as of this post if other retailers are. They will be posting more information as it emerges.

PushDustIn of Source Gaming has shared some new renders with us, one of which is a previously unseen Yoshi alternate costume based on his look in the upcoming Yoshi’s Crafted World. This was found in one of Nintendo’s press asset libraries, along with several other costumes.

On September 12th, Nintendo of America announced a string of events known as the “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate College Tailgate Tour”. Throughout this tour, Smash Ultimate demos will be playable at multiple football games at colleges across the United States starting on September 22nd.

With new information from CoroCoro, the stage total is now, possibly, 108, being 5 stages larger than the previous count of 103.

Isabelle from Animal Crossing is a newcomer in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate according to the September 13th Direct, making her the second Assist Trophy to make the transition in this game.

On Tuesday, September 4th, 2018, Best Buy officially announced that certain Best Buy stores in the US will have playable Super Smash Bros. Ultimate demos available on various weekends from September 8th to October 7th. This is the first time a retailer will have an Ultimate demo before the game launches on December 7th, 2018.
