A few days ago I had a dream where CBeebies launched a pre-teen off-shoot seperate from CBBC called "Beebies" - the two shows they premiered with were a Bob the Builder sequel series and a horrific; totally inappropriate puppet show about abandoned bulldogs in a junkyard who's eyes were constantly falling off - the dogs were small hand puppets, but had the detailed textures and taxidermy eyes of a Dark Crystal or Dinosaurs character.

Also, Beebies didn't exist as a TV channel - instead it was like a franchise chain where the BBC would buy out small abandoned buildings, slap a Beebies logo sign on them, and then just put the episodes on loop on a CRT inside, free entry and no adult supervision

As much as I love Smash Remix as a whole, their Wario is perfect proof of why the official Smash games basing him on Ware was a good call. Remix Wario isn't poorly designed or annoying by any means, just super boring and forgettable.

I had a dream where Dreamworks released trailers for Abominable 2 and Ambominable 3. Abominable 3's trailer was just a video of a really bad Brawl mod that also had a kart-riding DK and Slendytubbies, while Abominable 2's trailer was really poorly animated and - for whatever reason - shifted away from the heartwarming fantasy to be a mediocre, obnoxious slapstick comedy. There was one joke my mind forced me to endure that was kinda funny though: a helicopter crashed through a window, and the original dad character my mind created because I didn't watch the movie had to play limbo to walk away unharmed by the spinning blades, but then the original mother character was so short she could just walk by without realising a helicopter crashed, let alone trying to avoid the blades.

I think my favourite fan theory ever is the "Donkey is from Pleasure Island" Shrek theory - it certainly wasn't intentional, but I think it lines up really well with Donkey's personality and introduction - plus the fact that Donkey's Happily Ever After form was a horse instead of a human is just really sweet in this context.

I think Yoshi's black alt was lowest on the priority list and got replaced by Woolly Yoshi for either not fitting Yoshi's "rainbow" theme or simply the abundance of black-clothed/furred alts in Smash as is. I also think that it would've stayed if not for Woolly Yoshi. Dark Blue Yoshi should've got the cut IMO though.

While I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo are cautious about using the black Yoshis in US promo materials and merchandising in response to SuperMarioLogan, I highly doubt the memo would go as far to the game development.

It's weird and kinda annoying how when indie games pay homages to most retro systems, they go for the console at their full potential graphically - PS1-style games take from Mega Man Legends; NES-style games take from Mr. Gimmick; SNES-style games take from Chrono Trigger; so on - but the Atari 2600 is treated as this weird exception where, unless it's a homebrew game on actual hardware, they just put together Webdriver Torso blocks; play some dial-up noises; and call it a day.

Duck Hunt is probably one of the most iconic games on the Smash roster total even including third parties, yet people treat it's representative as an "oddball pick" or have them be the first character to get cut in fan rosters. If you want to make a "celebration of gaming" roster, DH should be a way higher priority than Samus and Kirby - be that for a playable or non-playable role.

One idea I had for Infinite's final character, but rejected, was a bookend sort of character in "Super Mario" - which would be an alternate moveset for Mario with the hammer, wing cap, e.t.c. - decided against it since while it is something a lot of people want, it doesn't really make sense as a final character - especially not paid DLC
