I was playing a hazardless match with Joker against Snake, and I used Joker’s Grappling Hook to catch Snake’s grenade and threw it back straight after.

Seems like the the kind of Joker thing to do.

I dunno why people rip Smash 4’s results theme a new one for not being triumphant like Brawl’s. Brawl’s is fantastic, don’t get me wrong. But I think of Smash 4’s more like the calm after the battle you just finished, regardless of who wins or loses.

I think the reason any 2nd reps from a single 3rd party series are Echoes so far is that if a 3rd party series got TWO unique fighters, people might complain about Sakurai being biased towards that series. So props to Sakurai for keeping each 3rd party series special, even with the two Echoes for Street Fighter and Castlevania, respectively.

Hot take: I respect wanting to change a veteran’s Final Smash (because GOD KNOWS some of ‘em need it), but it legit makes me CRINGE when people suggest Final Smashes that only exist to make a character look cool.‬

For example, Peach and Daisy don’t NEED their super moves from Strikers Charged; just change the latter’s FS to inflict a flower effect on all fighters. Plus, giving Mario the T-Rex is an okay idea, but timing and development issues probably would’ve caused complications.

For those who DO need it, though? Hoo, boy, where to start? Well, expanding on Mario for JUST a bit, they should’ve at least given HIM a Mega Mushroom, and kept it for Ultimate.

TL;DR I’m okay with FS change, just as long as it stays true to that character.

You guys remember the glide mechanic, and how it only existed in Brawl (which I didn’t even know existed at all until the April 2014 Smash Direct)? Why do you think it was removed? Apparently there was data found in both Smash 4 and Ultimate that certain characters were supposed to glide.

Unpopular opinion: The most I can see the Boost implemented into Sonic’s moveset is a dash attack, and as a brief boost. If it were his Side B (which I’d rather the Light Speed Dash be), it could possibly be one the messiest Side B in Smash history.

Here’s an idea for a Sonic game:

Sonic gets trapped in a capsule with a mechanism that moves a propeller. This propeller moves him in different directions depending on his speed, and Spin Dashing causes the mechanism to move the capsule up in he spins forward or down if he spins backward. If he gets attacked while the capsule has no Rings, a powerful explosion destroys the capsule and Sonic loses a life.

I’ve got a new idea for a new mainline 3D Sonic game: Sonic Starlight.

The zodiac is a main motif. Sonic and Shadow are the two main playable characters with their own separate stories. Tails, Kunckles, Rouge and Omega would be other playable characters at moments in their stories.

Most of the zodiac signs are the basis for the boss robots Eggman pilots. Two others, Virgo and Gemini, are the design basis for three major characters:

-Vi, an Astral Guardian who has rested in the Earth for centuries
-The Gemini Twins, two devil-like beings who have been banished to farthest reaches space for causing misfortune in the ancient days
>Gen, a devil boy with a gargoyle’s wing who believes life is a game and lives as such. He tricks his victims by playing mind games with them.
>Mimi, a devil girl with a dark fairy wing who loves to cause chaos for the sake of it. She inflicts bad luck on her victims and leads them into nightmares.

Time to get on the predictions/hopes bandwagon!

>Sora. He may’ve only made 4 Nintendo appearances ever (as of this status, anyways), but he’s still one of my favorite video game characters. Like Min-Min, he’s got one of the most Smash-friendly material for a moveset as far as non-Disney material goes.

>Crash Bandicoot. Like Sora, one of my favorite video game characters. His increase in relevance thanks to the N. Sane Trilogy, along with his status as a gaming icon (which Nintendo acknowledged back in 2018), are also prone to help.
