Sonic Forces should've just been repackaged as a Warriors game, to be honest. I’d play the hell out of a Sonic musou with different characters (never mind that I’d also want an at least better story than what we got in actual Forces).

The Rookie can stay, since he’s a central character.

I’ll never understand stage legality logic. Like, KOF Stadium is literally built to play more like a traditional fighting game, but pros would rather ***** about the walls favoring infinites and vertical KO options. I just now realized; the normal Spirit Board shows 10 Spirits on its main page, while DLC Spirit Boards show 8 Spirits PER page. With this in mind, why don’t the DLC Spirit Boards ALSO show 10 Spirits per page?

If DLC characters had actual guidances in Sm4sh, I can imagine them being the ones they’d eventually get in Ultimate (save for Corrin; as a nod to their game not releasing in the US at the time of their reveal and release, Corrin would get the “intruder from another dimension” Guidance for the international versions).

Think about it; Sakurai and his team already wen through the trouble of making an Assist Trophy character serve their role as one, but the suddenly Nintendo wants to make them be a fighter. Wouldn’t you be angry if all that had work was undermined, and Nintendo’s excuse was “lol you can just deactivate it when that character is on the stage, that’s totally an excuse for their Assist role no longer meaning anything!”

If you’re having trouble with the Jiggy Spirit Battle, just use a Health Drain item if you have one. You can basically win the battle by doing absolutely nothing.

I just realized; Eggman could’ve used Chao for the E-Series robots in Adventure. Heck, if Cream were part of the story, that plot point could’ve been a segway (if that’s the right term) into formally introducing Cheese and Chocola as the Chao powering Gamma and Beta, respectively.
