in all fairness, I understand you side of the issue. I really do.
But you cant get mad at a group/person for applying the majority rules idea to a concept. I mean, your only other option is to appeal to the minority, and thats FAR worse of an option. you know? Its just like i said in the thread. Both sides have valid arguments and statements. so neither side is inherently 'wrong' since its very dependant on ones personal interpretation of the given data.
But if you have two options that are available, and both have roughly the same amount of pros and cons, then you kind of have to make the decision based on the majority rules concept because its still better than letting the minority rule.
if you can possibly take yourself and your own personal stake in the matter out of the equation, you should be able to see that.
