    Is this a good idea to demote stalling?

    10 min timer.

    Ban RC and possibly Brinstar.

    If the match goes to time and a character has spent more than X minutes in the air (I don't know how much is fair) that character loses. If this applies to both characters then its stock, %, what we have now.

    This is based on the assumption that no match can go to 10 min without someone stalling.
    No LGL. All characters legal. Do you think this will work?

    its a bummer to see some1 as great as you to quit smash for the most part. i have watched tons of vids of you on youtube and you are 1 of my favorite players, and i am learning fox techniques from watching your melee vids. I wish you good luck in whatever you confront in the future, if its smash or in real life.

    in all fairness, I understand you side of the issue. I really do.

    But you cant get mad at a group/person for applying the majority rules idea to a concept. I mean, your only other option is to appeal to the minority, and thats FAR worse of an option. you know? Its just like i said in the thread. Both sides have valid arguments and statements. so neither side is inherently 'wrong' since its very dependant on ones personal interpretation of the given data.

    But if you have two options that are available, and both have roughly the same amount of pros and cons, then you kind of have to make the decision based on the majority rules concept because its still better than letting the minority rule.

    if you can possibly take yourself and your own personal stake in the matter out of the equation, you should be able to see that.

    i don't care it's not gonna work anyway, id rather just support my small community of mk legal events like D1 and Jtails and bring carpools to them. i already know a lot of people that hate Unity or the MK ban and would go just because of that reason. (I also know West coast, Europe, and Japan don't like Unity either). It's mostly an eastern half of the USA thing.

    I think the only way you're going to be able to make a difference in this MK banned situation is to boycott all Unity tournaments. You should also try to convince other notable players like Anti and Ally to do the same. People go to tournaments to win money, but a lot of the scrubs also go to play popular players like you. If no pro players show up to Unity tournaments then the attendance will drop greatly and force the URC into unbanning Metaknight.

    Well heres the thing, Im pretty straped for cash as it is. so I dont even travel as often for tourneys as I used to tho. not only that, but NYC is 6 hours away from me. So Im actually putting in more effort to get my extended license so I can go up to canada tourneys. but I am trying to work some stuff out, and D1/jtails are my dudes, so If im ever in the position to roll up like that Ill definitely bring a car or 2 up with me.

    Hey do you know who you will main in Brawl after MK's gone? If you're still thinking, then I think Pit would be a great choice. I might be a little biased since I main him, but he goes close to even with the high tiers and has fast moves like MK.
