I hate when people who want Edelgard in Smash use the defense "yes, I know she's an FE character, but her weapon is an AXE, not a sword". Yes, I realize that. You're missing the point, it's not that I don't want another Fire Emblem sword wielder. I don't want another Fire Emblem character, period-unless they cut down that series by a few reps or so. I apologize if that sounds mean.

A leak came up for something called Sonic Unlimited. One of the things it details is a new female character, that being "Tribot", who would be Eggman's third geometric underling.

I'm excited for the new Wimpy Kid movie/series (not sure which it is), but I'm equally scared that it will have a similar writing style to The Long Haul. But it has been four years since that movie, so who knows, maybe Jeff has changed for the better.
Though basing that assumption off the more recent books, I'm gonna go with no.

Gotta love how when Mario has an actual plot with emotion and drama and worldbuilding and character development, it's seen as a "Fresh new take on the formula" but when Sonic does the exact same thing it's "Nope, no serious stories in my Sonic game, how can a game about a super fast blue hedgehog have a serious story??"

I finally started Shadow The Hedgehog.
And-surprisingly-it's a blast! I haven't really encountered any problems with the controls (the ice physics only need to be adjusted to, and they're fine), the gunplay is really solid as well. Though the story and dialogue-and overall presentation-are extremely over-edgy. But I have an ironic love for it.

I really hate the attitude of "Sony will never get a Smash character, ever ever ever ever..."
I know they're hard to work with, but remember when we said the same thing about Square? Well, now we have 3 SE characters. So I think a Sony character is definitely possible.

Y'know, the Werehog could've worked. Just replace it with Knuckles, let him glide and go faster than the Werehog (maybe a bit slower than his top speed in SA2) and give him some treasure to find alongside the hacking and slashing.

Beat X3 again because I loved it the first time so damn much.

While the Z-Saber did make all of the boss fights an absolute joke...it feels lonely in the ending without Zero. Like it legitimately makes me a little heartbroken, like he wasn't there to see the end of it. Plus Dr. Cain died in vain so that doesn't help my feelings.

I think some people get the wrong idea about me from my opinions on the 2010s Sonic era, that I dislike nostalgia and nostalgic things.
That's totally not true. I'll drop everything at a moment's notice to rewatch Shrek or replay Super Smash Bros Brawl.
Thing is, when nostalgia is put into something-let's say, modern Star Wars movies-for the sake of nostalgia and nothing else, it just feels forced and pandering. Green Hill Zone and other Classic imagery are things I love, and I certainly don't hate their many returns. I just dislike how Sega isn't willing to try new things. It's not the abundance of Green Hills, it's the lack of anything else I dislike.
