It's really a disservice that we don't have a solo Knuckles game yet. Chaotix is cool and all but doesn't provide much in terms of expansive lore and a focus on the title character. I really want to learn more about the past of Angel Island.

If I had to guess, I'd say Legends is a spinoff of the main Pokemon series, however it's new battle structure will be used as the standard going forward (maybe mainline games will have the option to switch to traditional battle structure). Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will most likely act as the final nail in the coffin for the (what I believe it will come to be known as) "Classic" Pokemon structure (that being Gen 1-8).
Could be totally wrong though.

Since Pokemon is on everyone's minds currently, I'd like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to watch Alpharad Deluxe's playthrough of a Sonic rom hack of Pokemon Fire Red. It's great.
Early 2022 for Legends, huh? Really hope they've had enough time to work on it. I have a fear of it coming out like a really big SWSH Wild Area, instead of an actual open world with things to do and places to explore.
But, you know what? Even if it's not good, I still congratulate-er, whoever makes the games these days-for trying something completely new with the mainline games. Returning to an old region, and changing up the core gameplay? At the very least, it's an interesting new direction.
I really like how the remakes look! Very stylish way of translating the 2D games to 3D. I honestly prefer it over the artstyle of SWSH.
Apparently Shadow The Hedgehog was planned to be a T-rated game, but the E10+ rating was introduced halfway through development, so they went for that instead.
I'm immensely curious to know what the T-rated build of Shadow The Hedgehog is like.

There might not be a new Mario and Sonic game this year and that terrifies me. It's one of the few constants in this ever-changing world. Not having a new Mario and Sonic this year would probably cause the universe to implode on itself.
Why is the MCU so disliked, especially on Twitter?
I'm not saying it's perfect, of course-I wish the individual directors were given more creative freedom, and I wish that not every film was required to watch for maximum enjoyment-but c'mon. It's the MCU. It's really freaking good most of the time.

Miitopia is really expensive on Switch...but I can't say I didn't expect that to be so.
Mementoes is a cool stage, but the highest platform is perfect for cheesing kills with Bowser Side B, so I'm honestly pretty glad it's not legal.
I'm so happy that Miitopia is getting a Switch HD port. The 3DS is a great little console and I'm glad it's not just getting left behind in the dust.
Ones I'm really hoping for are FE Awakening (the only FE game I've played, and a damn good one), Tomodachi Life, Samus Returns and Link Between Worlds.
If I had the sum up the direct, I would say:
Didn't get what I wanted, but (excluding Smash) everything I got was amazing or at least ok.
In retrospect, I'm glad that Byleth was the final fighter of FP1. Taught me a very valuable lesson:
Unless you're 100% sure that something will be good and you literally cannot wait to get it, NEVER PRE-ORDER ANYTHING.

Mario Golf Super Rush looks really good, and will probably be the best Mario Golf to date, even if it's just "Mario Golf: World Tour HD."
But can they stop naming the games by slapping two action-packed words together? Ultra Smash and now Super Rush? What's next, Power Swing? Hyper Kick?

Prediction: Sonic Colors remaster will be revealed at the Direct today, but I believe it highly unlikely they'll reveal anything bigger than that. Maybe a Sonic collection. Though they'll probably reveal anything more substantial than that through their own means.
I don't have high hopes-if any-for Shadow in this pass. Only way I see him getting into Ultimate is through an Echoes Pass, in which I'd consider him 95% likely.

And as cool as they look...why are there three Sonics? I'm assuming it's Classic, Adventure, Modern...but that brings about more questions than answers. Why is Modern Sonic separate from Adventure Sonic? Why is Adventure Sonic front and center for the first poster? Why (in the second poster) does Adventure Sonic also use Green Hill from Sonic Generations, instead of Green Hill from Sonic Adventure 2, or Neo Green Hill from Sonic Advance?
