The Mario Kart team is just lazy and sucks at choosing good characters as they like to add over a billion baby, metal, and costume clones instead of missing veterans from the past games or new original characters people would actually like.

E. Gadd too, as he was cut from MKDS.
Hammer Bro was cut from Wii but at least he finally made it into Mario Kart Tour.
Mario Kart Tour while having tons of clone characters had some really dope additions, like King Bob-Omb and Monty Mole, so I don't understand why they haven't done Kamek or E. Gadd yet. E. Gadd should have come out with LM King Boo (another great decision) back then.
