People say Cranky was the worst acted character in the movie but I don't think his acting was bad, I think his characterization was. Dude acts nothing like he actually does in the games and it's so disappointing

I’ve only recently realized how fake the “if (random object) was put on your car in a parking lot you’ve been selected for human trafficking and need to be careful!” stories are. Literally just fear mongering for clout on the internet and human trafficking awareness sites will tell you they’re fake too. People get so paranoid over this stuff for no reason as if that’s how the majority of human trafficking cases happen.
I hate it when people tell streamers to change a topic they’re talking about because they’re bored of it. Literally just let them talk naturally like a human being and not randomly change the topic every 5 minutes when a single person in chat is bored.
Looking back on the fighters legacy thread, I think the general from kaiser knuckle was a good pick but it just seems weird that he’s not a boss

I feel like lucky chloe from tekken would have been received better if her evil side was explored further. Obviously I’m not asking for her to become a Heihachi or Bryan but she was portrayed as a jerk in some of the story modes and she literally works for the G corporation, it would be interesting if they fully leaned into her just being a gigantic ***** when the camera’s not on.
It kinda bugs me some times when people use canon to basically just mean “happened in officially licensed media” like just because a character is said to have three nipples in the german manual that doesn’t make it canon

You know, Christians will say “god works in a mysterious way” but I’ve never understood that because the bible and a lot of christians can explain a lot about god. His sense of morality, the entire power structure of his kingdom, what he has an interest in, how people are supposed to communicate and praise him. The only times he seems to be mysterious is when he’s doing really bad things.
The touch controls in dawn of sorrow are pretty dumb but using balores ability is delightful
Tekken 7 has a jukebox feature where it plays a random song each battle and I really like it but also it’s a little annoying how it doesn’t tell you which song is playing

making a post about how it’s weird thinking that things from early on in a decade actually existed in development in the earlier decade, and I feel like, to add onto that, it’s also weird that all the culture that went into inspiring and creating one of those things can only come from the decade before. The PS2 was solely inspired by 90s culture. Adventure Time only took inspiration from the 2000s at first. Super Mario World is entirely a creation of the 80s that just happened to have released in the 90s.

In my school we’ve been preparing to put on the musical mamma mia (if ive made any posts referencing abba that’s why) and I feel like it’s really weird. Not normal musical weird but weird in the fact that the characters are alright, music is obviously amazing, but it kinda sucks as a musical and can’t really bridge them together in a way that makes sense. Like why does one of the catchiest songs in the show happen because an unimportant side character flirts with another relatively unimportant side character and it’s never addressed further down in the plot?
Tell a “You should totally try AI dating!” MF to tell a chatbot his deepest, darkest secret and see if they still remember it after ten minutes of conversation
Watched flintstones rock vegas. I feel like there was sexual tension between every single character in the film.
My theory is that a lot of the movesets in smash that adapts way too many unnecessary things from the character’s source material was mostly namco’s idea. I’m solely basing this on the guest characters from Tekken 7 because they do the exact same thing.

I’m sure the mario movie isn’t going to be that good but like, I enjoyed the street fighter movie, I enjoyed uncharted and I even enjoyed the god damn king of fighters movie. I think it’ll still be fun to watch.
