As a Yakuza fan I respect the influence of SpikeOut but I played it and I kinda find it a meh game
I have no overly strong opinions on ATLA but from my cursory knowledge on the series having seen it when I was a kid and remembering very little, the changes the live action makes that Ive heard about just make me mad. I suppose I really did have strong opinions on it.

I went to the arcade yesterday with two of my little cousins and I thought a song playing from one of the machines sounded familiar. Then I realized it was the Final Fantasy Chocobo theme. I didn’t see any Final Fantasy or Square Enix branding on it so I thought “huh, weird” and decided to look it up later. Turns out the machine just plagiarizes the song and I find that hilarious
Started playing rhythm heaven for GBA with an English patch and I’m genuinely astonished by the fact that they never did anything about the third level which relies on you listening to instructions that are in Japanese

Of the games in the partner showcase I think Another Crab’s Treasure is slept on. The idea of making a soulslike that’s cartoony and aimed at a younger demographic is super interesting to me.

The Rare thing from the partner showcase would be way more of a surprise if they weren’t already adding Rare games to the service semi-regularly now. I thought they would at least have perfect dark or something, that could have been a big surprise but nope it was just the usual dripfeed slightly faster
Madame Web contains a part where a character doesn’t understand a thing someone says and makes them repeat it. It wasn’t a plot relevant thing it just had no reason to be in there. I think that’s a good representation of the movie to be honest.

I know they have the in-universe explanation of it being a rubber mask but my head canon for why the judge from Who Framed Roger Rabbit’s face was so realistic is because he’s a toon from the future when they invented CGI. That also technically makes it the best CGI in a Robert Zemeckis movie.

Maybe this is just a me thing but I feel like in discussions of how sony would be repped in smash or of a playstation all stars 2, Gravity Rush’s importance is way overblown.
I feel like some people who aren’t that familiar with Sony think it’s more important than it actually is since it’s a cult classic and even put it on the same level as like twisted metal or something and sorry bud but that’s just wishful thinking. Again this is a really specific thing and I’m not mad at anyone for thinking a cult classic game did better than it actually did, I just find it odd how some people seem to think it’s a really successful game for Sony.
