If an animation company does something terrible, people will, for good reason, blame the company and not the individual animators. So it’s really frustrating when people won’t do the same when it comes to videogame companies, and blame everything on the developers, not the corporations

I don’t really think the Ace Attorney series counts as “visual novel.” It’s more of a Puzzle-Adventure game, just because it’s from Japan and has a lot of talking dosent mean it can’t be in the genre
I’m assuming the reason Sakurai is allowed to talk about Cyberpunk 2077 but not other games he’s playing is because since Cyberpunk was made so recently that there’s no reason it can get into Smash. It’s also technically a licensed game, too meaning it’s definitely not getting into Smash

Piranha Plant logically should have been the most memorable Smash fighter, but they just turned out to be the least memorable fighter
I think Final Fantasy VII might be my favorite game soundtrack of all time

Mario, Pokemon and Zelda are the only series in Smash that I think deserve more than 5 original movesets. Also, for those three series, I think anything less than 5 original movesets is a disservice to the series.
2D platformers always seem to think the idea of moving from the foreground to the background, with a different layout for the foreground and background is original. Yeah it’s really not, and it honestly pretty boring
