I hate it when I wanna recommend a series to a friend, but it’s extremely hard to do so.

For example, I wanna reccomend the Metal Gear Solid series but it’s pretty hard since the only way to really start is with either an emulator or the consoles of the last generation (PS3 and 360).

anyways im trying to figure out a non-passive aggressive way of explaining that it’s really stupid to not want to emulate a game you’re interested in that’s over 20 years old and not available on current hardware

Random nitpick I have with Smash #762: Why is the Zangief spirit battle on the boxing ring stage? Shouldn’t it be in a more industrial looking stage like Wrecking Crew? Sure, the stage looks American so it would be a bit weird, but it certainly looks less American than the Boxing Ring stage

It’s funny how the intro to the arcade version of Strider says “No one has ever cleared this stage” for every stage in the game

that’s the original version of “Only 2% can get past this level!” you see on mobile games

Is it just me or is Sega really weird and selective about which consoles their games are exclusive on?

Yakuza has always been Playstation exclusive until for some reason they decided to put for the Wii U. And then they just completely abandoned the idea of them being exclusive.

There’s also the time which was just when they stopped making consoles... For some reason, Sonic was Gamecube exclusive, Space Channel 5 was PS2 exclusive and Shenmue was Xbox exclusive.

And then Persona, which was a known Playstation exclusive until one of the spin-offs was put on Switch as well as Steam, which lead to a main entry being on Steam but not Switch
