I’ve played Okami and I love it, but I really don’t think Amaterasu should make it into Smash. Dante would be a better choice in almost every way IMO

It’s super dumb when somebody says that an indie game is objectively better just because it has a smaller development team.
Like, I’ve seen a lot of people say Cave Story is automatically better than Undertale just because Undertale wasn’t just madeby one person, and Cave Story was.
I got an Xbox 360 from a good friend of my mom a while back (like I posted about before) and now I have a huge backlog. Like, bigger than it ever was before. But hey that’s definitely not a complaint because some of the games are classics that I’ve never got to experience before. Today I just finished Portal 2 for the first time.
I also looked through the “my games” section and found out there were also a huge amount of games that were download to the console, and now I’m even more excited. One of them was Castlevania SotN, which I’m very excited to play. I didn’t even know the game was available on Xbox 360 until now.
I think one of the stupidest things to ever happen to me was when part of my final was to write an essay on which is better: oral knowledge keeping or written knowledge keeping. I wrote a big essay comparing the two and which one I find best preserved knowledge, which was written although I can absolutely respect cultures with oral knowledge keeping.
In the end, I only got half marks, because according to her “You were only supposed to write on which you think is better, I didn’t ask you to compare the two”
At this point it feels like if it’s an anime or anime styled thing, the fandom will be awful
Really wish the Smash community would get it into their heads that no characters are objectively good or bad

It’s kind of poetic that the DLC Smash newcomer that ended up having the biggest impact on the industry IMO wasn’t the highly requested B&K, but the smaller more underappreciated character Terry.
Okay do we really need a Resident Evil 4 remake? Like, I’m pretty sure it technically already has a remake. And plus, there are other games like Code Veronica that would really benefit from being remade in the same way as 2 and 3

I know this is probably a coincidence, but I find it really funny that GTA, a series long accused of being misogynistic, has a rival series where the main character literally has a moral code against hitting women
Imagine a parent in the 90s finding out that one day in the future there will be a Leisure Suit Larry game on a Nintendo platform. That would definitely be more of a shock than finding out about the switch port of Night Trap
I feel like most of the puzzles in Portal 1 are really clever and well put together, but in Portal 2, half the time the way to solve the puzzle would just be to make a portal in an obscure, hard to spot corner of the room
While I do like the idea of making original characters first, and then completely structuring the story around them, I think, if you’re not careful, that can very easily lead to someone caring just about characters, and putting almost no effort into the actual plot
It really bugs me when people call it a plot hole when a certain character looks nothing like their parents or grandparents. Like, yeah it’s pretty unlikely from a genetic standpoint, but I know plenty of people irl with different hair colour and other features from their parents. It’s not like it can’t happen
I remember a few of years ago, I was on a vacation to Mexico with my family. We were in the hotel room, and my mom was watching The Simpsons in Spanish.
She’s the only one in my family who can actually understand Spanish, so I was kinda half watching, and obviously didn’t really get what was going on.
The only joke I did understand was Bart laughing at a statue of “homo erectus.” Well, there you go folks. Laughing at the name homo erectus is a universal concept that can transcend the barrier of language. -
