And I learned something too, today. At least I wasn't misguided about the floating. Powershielding kind of helps against Falco's, but when you're getting lasered, it's always tempting to starting floating. But (and it's something I'm working on) don't be afraid to get up in his face, if you have to.

EDIT: I don't know why, but I just stopped Fc-fairing to grab one day, and never did it again. Maybe cause no one shielded.

I've been thinking about teams w/ Peach lately, and I've been throwing a few ideas around, in case I want to enter doubles in a tournament sometime soon. I'd like details on them, too, cause I have little idea.

1) Peach/Fox (I hear this one is REALLY good)
2) Peach/Falco (I hear these two run into each other)
3) Peach/Falcon (I know nothing of this one, but I guess it's good...?)
4) Peach/Jiggs (???)
5) Peach/Zelda (Tee hee hee hee...)

Learning how to jump OOS vs lasers will save you so much grief. I know it sounds easy / stupid, but so many Peaches mess up that simple thing and get hit unnecessarily because of it.

Thank you Based Mimi.
I also endorse this. He can't HANDLE that booty bop. He runs right into it.

Also, Mafia, you sure do looooove that float ;) My Peach is definitely more grounded.

Eh, the can tech those at the ledge and grab you out of them. If they are coming in low you can float with your back off stage and dair repeatedly and then edgehog them once they go low enough

Yeah, they can tech bairs, and when Falcon's DI like they are supposed to, edgeguarding gets really annoying. Still, bairs are kinda fun.

vs falcon, when he recovers low i'll bair at low percents just to rack percentage up a bit. When I want to kill i'll either ledgehog, or if he DI's up I'll groundfloat bair and time it so he can't tech it (he has no sweetspot, this is a timing people need to learn) and then float offstage for a 2nd bair if he DI's that up too, then ledgehog. I do the same thing if he recovers high, bair to bair offstage.

I'm honestly starting to think that the Falcon MU is, like, 200: -100 in his favor. I hate it. I think I'll just wimp out and use Fox.

Remember to think. If something isn't working vs falcon, try something else. I like to run forward, wd back a lot against him, i think appearing to stay mobile really helps you. Dash attack his approaches, and if he overshoots, try to force him to trade with nair. It's a winning trade for you. Be smart and watch him, figure out what he's doing. Peach has an answer for everything.

Bair is alright. I'm pretty sure you can do the Bair so you don't get grabbed by his Up+B but I like Dair because it's brainlessly easy to make it untechable.

I always just sheild lasers and then jump oos. You have to react quickly though. Armada does it + it's kirbykaze recommended!

I like to jump off and nair falcon since I'm really bad at guessing which trajectory he's going for. If he's below the stage, dair is definitely better though.

What is a good way to get out of pressure as Peach? Especially vs. Marth and Jiggs?

i realize this is pretty late, but just wanted to say thanks for all yall that responded to my concerns from genesis (kk, mafia, connor, macd, alan; much love <3). yeah i just gotta keep going, and dont bother with the youtube crap lol...

also, to be kinda relevant, DoH's shoutouts are so entertaining. that mustve taken a good while!

wd oos seems sooo good to get out of pressure btw. i cant do it well tho at all bc i often accidentally float instead of wd...does anyone here that does it use both triggers or just one?

oh god KK hahah.

Alan and Shroomed are alright. It's pretty clear Alan carries the team and Dajuan's big head

Alan let's team sometime if I ever go to anything again. ;)

Practice!! Whenever you get to play. ALWAYS! ALL THE TIME!!!!!

If there is something you're not comfortable with, although you think it is integral or even remotely useful, you should absolutely get comfotrable. Don't make it SO obvious in a match that you're trying something new (I will literally throw match after match after match just cause I'm practicing ledge dash or something)

The trick is consistency. Anyone who saw SW SD in his crew match knows that . . .

At least if you accidentally float you can still aerial ;].

If I can imagine this correctly, you have to let go of jump. You're probably holding jump too long. This would result in a float if you pressed down. Unless you input the airdodge frame perfectly. . . maybe. BUT, let go of jump (short hop, basically)

I love Armada's wavedash back shenanigans.

I use both triggers. Yeah I would say just practice, you'll get it. Once you get the feel for WD back oos, it'll come easy :)
