Apollo is easily the top ZSS player in Aus, and when I think ZSS, I don't think anyone but Apollo really. For those who don't know, he is the top player in SA and 1.5 in QLD.

It is true that it takes a tonne of discussion in the Brawl scene to get things done Tak ( a lot more than it ever needs too). Honestly can't argue with that at all.

Edit: Not to mention Apollo is the number 1 player in his state, and places consistently well at majors. I don't even remember the last major Zero attended sorry, let alone the placing. I'm not trying to put Zero down at all, I have heard from a number of people that he is quite a good player, I just don't think he deserves ZSS next to his name in Aus, over Apollo.

Pretty sure Andrew is far better than Apollo, well at least when I played them both.

Edit: Also if you go off who people associate with the character I think the vast majority of players (who have been playing for a while) would associate Andrew with ZSS over Apollo.

In terms of tournament placings/players beaten, they're essentially the same. Apollo's higher on the PRs because NSW is (still) a stronger region than either Queensland or South Australia, and higher on any player ranking project because NSW have had about one or two tournaments the entire year...

Secondly, is it in terms of results, because if it is, Apollo tops this ladder.

Thirdly, is it in terms of the character usage. Both of them have played ZSS since the beginning, so no one wins.

Lastly, Apollo is currently more active, regardless of the lack of tournaments in NSW, Apollo attends current majors around the country on a regular basis, and has done for a very long time.

The M thing was just a first measure. Given that M and I run evenish now, and Apollo beats me and M.

So if you guys ran even back at Robocop, you would most likely run even now.

Which means he is still ahead of you in terms of all RELATIVE justification.

I played them both, within 3 months of each other, albeit it at Robo/tPoo. I fared the same against both of them. I wouldn't favour one being better than the other based on what I played, however Zero has done better against top players? IDK if that's just Sydney being bad, or yada.

Also I go last stock with Apollo every game, last time I played Zero was the easiest Money Match of my life. Except for Timic. So I never imagined in my head Zero was the better player either, but he did beat Ted that one time iirc. :E

The point is
Zero doesn't even play anymore, and Apollo is the best in his state. Even though his SA is not as good as NSW, this actually still means a lot because when we're talking about "who remind of ZSS more" the person that wins every tourney in his state with ZSS has more of an advantage than the guy who comes 3rd once in a tourney in his state that has tourneys like 3 times a year.

Zero reminds me of anime, not ZSS.

At rocky, Zero was without a doubt the superior ZSS by a large margin, but that was 3 years ago. Splice and Matt has already pointed this out but it's really only been in the past 6 months that I have improved considerably. I don't 3 stock attila anymore but at that one time he was playing real dumb. I do still take pride in being able to get decently close matches against him and occasionally grab a victory. I do well using ZSS against most top players (except Shaya, but I wouldn't use ZSS against marth in a MU I hardly know, and Scott). That being said it's obvious that Zero and I have different strengths with ZSS so that isn't entirely important. Now it matters about activity.
