I imagine people to play Brawl after they realise how much they never appreciated it, especially when SSBU comes out and has even less hitstun than Brawl making almost every attack punishable on hit; all the while Princess Zelda will somehow be God Tier but everyone will refuse to play as the useless woman.

Melee will achieve SSB64 status and be played only by diehard enthusiasts.

SSB64 will be totally forgotten.
