I've played M2k is sheik dittos vanz. it's balls. though i suck so that might need to be taken into account.

m2k is not invincible or anything in the sheik ditto. he is solid but he is just gay and edgecamps and chaingrabs, which good people kind of know how to work around. I didn't see him do anything particularly controlling when we did like 3 hours of dittos.

For our Sheik dittos at pound 4 I say we show off tech skill for at least a minute and wow the crowd with amazingness.

I believe at this point in time Sheik should be able to do her ledge waveland with good invincibility, distance, and consistency to recover effectively after grabbing the edge. There's probably more technical skill there than in Jigglypuff as a character.

That's not really what i was talking about, i was just talking about people being able to learn more from watching PAL sheiks in general. After having learned the basics in NTSC that isI thought about that after I posted it but editing wasn't worth it. Uhhh.
My point should have been more along the lines that since Amsah, as stelzig seems so intent to point out, is the best at using sheik's needles and other aspects besides her grab that he should have the best chance of taking out Chu's climbers. Then I realized that Amsah has little IC's experience, so it may not be a good indicator of the matchup. It would be a great set though nonetheless because Amsah's sheik is **** good.

you can do a real techchase against falcon but ofc it is way harder in pal since you already need 1 dash to be in position to punish him for not teching/grabbing if he techs on place

I disagree. When you Dhtrow and they DI towards you (So they're close) you can simply wait and see if and what direction they tech and follow them.
When they DI away from you dash in their direction (don't go into a full run, just the initial dash), if they tech in place, grab them. If they tech towards you, simply follow them. If they tech away from you, wavedash forward (otherwise it's hard to start running again) then boost grab them. And if they don't tech, jab reset to grab (or Dtilt to fair at higher percentages).
You don't have much room to think, but you definitely don't have to guess. Just react. =]
don't forget to boost grab kids, gives you more distance.
edit: if you think this is a guessing game then you're playing it wrong. 'reading' counts as guessing, unless you do it 100%. Then it's called cheating.

All i have to say is i'm super happy that melee is alive in europe again/still. There was a large amount of time where i heard nothing from them. Props to you guys.

Europeans suddenly started traveling a lot. Also, some Swedes quit smash before that, and the Dutch mainly did Dutch tourneys without international activity. But we internationalized suddenly, dunno why but it's good ^^. I blame Ryanair
