I've ran BP in shadier situations. If I can do it as a freshman in college, in a dorm, with 15 people... then I can run it. I just need an adequate space... like, a room that isnt going to be chocked full of friendlies going on + a table big enough for 12 cups. The rest can be managed. I haven't scoped out any of the rooms, so I don't know exactly what their layout & furnishings will include. I'm industrious, but I can't turn a hovel into a mansion.

Violently drunk people will be escorted out of the venue by security if they cause a big problem. Don't be idiots.

This. Anyone that I drink with, or will allow into the BP will be responsible types of people. it doesn't take that long hanging with someone b4 you know how they are gonna act. You act a fool, you get cut off. Something along the lines of "We're out of booze". PLUS, with the fact that what Im organizing is "pay to play", i think if a team or person loses like 10 bucks after a few games, they'll say "forget it" and stop playing. At which point, they can leave whatever room it is. (Too crowded otherwise!)

This. It should be kept in the hotels and in no way "endorsed" by the tournament, or the TO. Anything off the site of the venue is out of their hands, and for the sake of respect to TO & staff, I completely concur with this statement. If Plank is fine with letting folks in drunk, that's on him and that's totally fine with me (of course!) but I'm not one to encourage taking advantage of the leniency to the max.

I know at least 12 people who will be registering for Brawl tonight so it will most likely go over 200.

Good stuff. I think Brawl will hit 200, i'd like to see about 250... but that's probably asking for a bit much.
