He was never only receiving input from 12 players. He just did a really bad job explaining what he was doing, so for a long time it seemed like he was just taking 12 players' opinions.

12. You should just go search for his post explaining how it works. It was actually a pretty smart idea, and cool way of doing the list. If Sveet had just come out and explained what he was doing at the beginning, I highly doubt anyone would have complained.

Semantically, his answer is not contradictory. He claimed that he was "never receiving input from just 12 players". Which could mean he was receiving input from hundreds. Received input does not have to be used in calculation or accreditation. But you then asked how many players' inputs were actually being compiled, to which he answered 12. Because 12 is correct.

Well that really isn't any different, it doesn't matter what source they're drawing information, in the end it's still just they're opinion. So this new tier list will be made of 12 people. Anyone who knows anything about mathematics, or common sense in general will tell you that such a survey is invalid for any practical purpose.

I'm a troll because I criticize your methodology? Could you explain why it would be sO difficult tO simply gather more votes. There are more than 12 people in the MBR.

the problem with the smash community is that our best players are like in their late teens-early twenties.

Immaturity would be expected. If we were a older community, you would have none of this "getting wasted the night before grandfinals" nonsense or "lose one set in winners and ragequit out of tournament" stuff.

But alas, smash is a kiddy party game so we deal.

I think they're about the same vs spacies and Puff IMO (needles & platforms are so gay, and spacing the grab makes life a lot easier but Marth has a sword and a dash dance so that's kind of good too)

This leaves the mid & low tier, where Sheik is better
