this sounds AMAZING tbhIf someone does the live audio stream I will be willing to draw pictures to accompany the commmentary.
I vote for SamuraiPanda!Audio commentary would only be good if it stuck 2 to commentators and not random *** people getting on the mic making stupid statements/getting off topic like most live streams.
It's MLG, I'm sure they'd get professional commentators and not just whoever is at the laptop by the TV as occurs at most tournies. They'd even probably be behind a desk and shoo away randoms who get near.Audio commentary would only be good if it stuck 2 to commentators and not random *** people getting on the mic making stupid statements/getting off topic like most live streams.
Also, lol @ M2K... normally you're really apprehensive about showing your matches... you must be really proud of the work you put in @ Orlando...I know for a fact a lot of my matches were recorded on stations 3 or 4 by both people behind me and VCRs
Is this really what Grand Finals boiled down to?
Pick Wario back up andome Wafts with you in the next Grand Finals. Is this really what Grand Finals boiled down to?
How depressing.
btw that was the worst commentary I have ever heard.
Nintendo would probably bomb anything competitive, rather than supporting itMLG needs permission from Nintendo in order to broadcast live stream for SSBB.
thats not even close to what i was talking about. My question is why was filming melee at mlg easy as pie yet its not in brawl? I dont understand why nintendo would say yes in the melee days but no in the brawl days.Easy. The top Melee players were trying to better themselves technically and strategically because their was an astronomically high ceiling to preoccupy themselves with. Brawl was already campy and not super tech heavy, so we explored exploitable strategies far sooner, especially camp oriented ones. Also, a lot of Brawl's metagame was already developed because of Melee.
I remember hearing that MLG actually didn't have permission then (correct me if I'm wrong), but didn't bother to get it since they were relatively small back then. Since their company is larger now they can't take a risk like that anymore. At least that's what I remember hearing.thats not even close to what i was talking about. MLG, is there any updates on recording or live streaming?
Simple. MLG is bigger and certainly more noticeable than it was back in the Melee days. Not to mention Nintendo, to our dismay, has a valid case against their merchandise being streamed in HD for MLG's financial gain.thats not even close to what i was talking about. if the matches are under 3min then yea. mlg doesnt allow hacked wiiI think people should just save matches on a sd card and have someone upload the matches
What does this have to do with anything? We're talking about it not being available for purchase at all because Nintendo hasn't given MLG permission.People do realize that you aren't REQUIRED to purchase the HD stream, right? It's completely optional.
