What the title says; if every series was upgraded to/limited to three fighters per series, who would you pick? This means quite a few cuts would come to bigger represented series like Mario and Pokemon, but in turn, series with only one represented fighter will get a greater chance to shine in the game.
Rules:
1. New characters must obviously be from the series you're placing them in. Characters from spin-off titles are also eligible to be picked. As long as they appeared somewhere in a series.
2. Some series already have three fighters, like Kirby and Star Fox. You can choose to either keep them the same, or replace fighters with other characters from that series.
3. Place the three fighters YOU like the most in each series. If that means changing all of the fighters for a series, even if that includes changing out some of the "OG 12", so be it.
4. Of course, some series like Duck Hunt, Ice Climber and ROB don't have many characters tied to their series, so you can choose to skip them entirely. However, you could get creative....
5. Pokemon Trainer counts as one fighter.
6. I'm categorizing series by the different logos found on the Smash Ultimate website, so series like Yoshi and Wario are considered separate series, as they have unique logos.
7. this list can include characters who are already assist trophies. Just imagine them getting the Little Mac Treatment.
8. This is just for fun
