You could start off on someone like Nunu, then once you get up in levels you can start on Articuno mid.

Shes really strong, but her wall makes her hard to catch

bulbasaur is the easiest imo, by the time you get past misty you have access to a wide enough variety of pokemon that it's not really an issue

Yea but then you won't have charizard end game. And his late game da bess

he was pretty strong, but at that point you just had access to so many pokemon the starter was irrelevant. It only had a really major effect early game.

I recently did a playthrough of yellow to get my "dream team" it consisted of:

pikachu, dragonite, charzard, lapras, kabutops, and aerodactyl.

It was wonderful to fulfill my childhood dreams.

I always thought Pikachu sucked hardcore in Yellow. Maybe it was just me, but I remember putting him in the computer on multiple occasions because I didn't think it was worth keeping him.

Try the champ at the 1350 ip and under area, or at least try free champs.

Most characters 1350 ip and under are very friendly to the newer players so they are a good start.

No specific answer here, try them all out and see who you like.

Pikachu is really really weak in yellow, but I think he's cute so I used him anyway. His net stat value was like 200 under dragonite's at same level or something. I played on shoddy battle for a while, if I want to go competitive I'll play there, this was just for fun.

Nah, butterfree made brock free, beedrill was nice against misty and so was pikachu and the oddish/bellsprout you could get on the path but bulbasaur was ivysaur just had better overall stats.

Depends on where you wanna go role wise and what your comp is.

Of the 450s, I can't say definitive best since I'm not sure how each affects their roles as good or bad as they do.

She's AP, she's AD, she's ranged, she's melee, she can jungle, top, mid, support.
Perfect for a beginner.

Lol what are you talking about.. IMO best character to start off with would be Annie. Great way to learn how to last hit, fairly easy mechanic, learn about sPacing/zoning and is cheap (450 ip iirc).

People I want to duo with in ranked are never on or already playing matches so I never touch ranked.
