I remember the days when non bruisers were top. Corki vs Annie top with a ****in roaming Blitzcrank and Nunu and Taric and all that jazz.

I love top lane, but I kinda also hate the hell out of it because I don't play the common champs. And all my top lane champs with the exception of Rumble lose to Teemo.

Otherwise, I just play whatever role is left, which I REALLY shouldn't be doing at my ELO since most of the players who pick carries are just terrible.

Totally Tristana. The DoT gets stronger and stronger with each tick. Not to mention her whole kit is AP.


Also, top lane is a heck of a lot better than mid lane, at the very least. Idk why people play it off like mid is balanced when snowballing is much more potent throughout laning and when roaming. I guess it's because people still think it's Irelia/Rumble/Jax or bust, but even that isn't true.

top lane gets you camped to death
mid lane is much harder to gank because the bushes are farther back and your tower is much closer

It's not at all snowbally when people aren't stupid. A lot of mids can play farm games and MUs are are stagnant there either.

Top is better than last season but it's still far worse for polar MUs.

Mid sucks ****, 6 possible entrances a jungler can enter from (more if you consider behind the tower dives) tbh mid is just a farm fest til a jungler shows up.

rumble beats like.... everyone but yorick and irelia probably. he's so OP right now but no one uses him so he doesn't get nerfed. like teemo got nerfed for liandry's... but the item is arguably better on rumble who was borderline OP in season 2...

and top is way more snowbally than mid... if you're behind in top you straight up don't get to cs anything except under your tower. with mid you can at least toss skill shots over the waves for CS. it's also the worst feeling in the world when your lane opponent happens to be darius. he's like the snake of LoL, he gets everything for free :T

Rumble last I checked also has the highest win rate amongst all the characters. I tend to go about 5:1 whenever I play him top/mid.

Does Volibear beat Irelia top? Every time I go Voli I destroy them.

Other than those two, I just go Poppy. Poppy vs. most ad bruisers top is fun because they can't kill me.

I attribute most Volibear victories in lane to people who have no idea what the character's strengths are or how to fight him. (Just like any other underplayed character that has a bad rep but is actually fine.)

A lot of my friends been telling me Garen is pretty good against rumble due to his natural sustain and silence.

Q can knock down the timer but it's not like you have to sit in Q range unless you can make the better trade.

Not a counter by any means but Garen has the edge.

garen should never be able to silence rumble because of rumble E. kite garen all day long and then chase him with flamespitter when he has to retreat

Garen vs Rumble used to be easier for Garen, because you could remove slows with E instead of having to burn Q to do it. Garen loses if he can't catch Rumble, and if your CD's are down with Garen you're much more vulnerable to lose fights and to get harassed when trying to CS. You're basically trying to beat the **** out of Rumble at or before level 6.

Volibear hard counters Irelia. The damage that Volibear has early to mid-game is obscene and he is a major bully. Same reason he counters a lot of tops. Like, I really think Volibear is not just a solid pick, I think he's competitive.
