Really now?I feel homeguard is pretty fantastic on every jungler.
Some junglers may get more out of the support one (maokai?) or the flash one (udyr/maokai/everyone? lol). But I think the assassin class junglers or everyone who takes damage at all wub the ever loving crap out of homeguard.
The only thing is you can't rely on your team for wards. As well if you rely on a summoner with a 4+ minute CD plus your teammates wards plus going back to base prior to the gank for homeguard. It just doesn't work enough to make it viable. If your teammates know what wards are, it's generally helpful. Not only is it good for ganks early game, but lategame teleport is extremely useful for split pushing
I kind of disagree, the item for just its Health and Armor makes it not very effective for the cost most of the time. The tenacity is nice but if you need that specifically you're better off getting treads. and getting madreds or just not upgrading the machete at all will benefit you more than going all out for the golem. The thing is that ancient golem has perfect stats, and is really gold efficient. The tenacity is essentially free, and that's a good thing since I don't want merc treads.
Thats exactly what happens, and its total ****ing bsIsn't it possible in this system to have like a 60%+ win ratio, but not advance in division/tiers if you keep getting unlucky in promotion matches?
I'd probably have killed myself. Can you imagine how Espy it would've been on the other team?
Gonna agree with this man.thresh is really good and is better than blitz. also counters him![]()
please cry a little harder. it makes me feel just that much better.this new ranking system is so infuriating.
The whole idea of these "promotion series" is inherently flawed. In order to advance to the next division you have to have a 66% winrate, IN A SAMPLE SIZE OF ONLY 3 GAMES. this means that winning a promotion series is COMPLETE luck. random CHANCE. because, the way that elo works, is that over time, over a period of X games, your true win % will emerge.
and X is sure as **** not 3 games and sure as **** not 5 games.
I've never been more unbelievably mad at solo queue than before these "promotion series"
been through 3 ****ing promotion series in div 3 platinum, it's the same thing every time. win a bunch of games and then when I finally get to promo series: d/c'd teammate....trolll...other team had 4 diamonds and I had a bunch of golds etc
the other stupid thing is that my "hidden rating" is the same or higher than most people in division 1.
so that means I'm getting queued with people playing games about to get diamond while I'm in division 3 lol.

Y4 bl0w.please cry a little harder. it makes me feel just that much better.
no not at all, the promotion series is essentially the embodiment of elo hell, though, if you actually think about what "elo hell" is.You sound like you are in elo hell or something.
yea I've been getting more points than losses for a while now,i love this new ranking system.
i always gain more league points from a win than i can ever lose. it's sooooooo good.
you would win your series with l-w-w-l (you said first 3 games? and that's 2/3 wins soooo) but besides that, you can have well over a 50% winrate and still never advance divisions. and about the 66% figure. if you isolate your promotion series games, 3 games, you have to have a MINIMUM flat win% of 66.6 or you lose the series.Okuser your winrate rant is inherently flawed, because your 66% rate is a meaningless number in this scenario.
More accurate is to think of it as being able to win two in a row.
Say you play 4 games.
Loss. Win. Win. Loss.
If the first three are your promotion series, you're out, even though your winrate is 50%.
I don't disagree that there is some luck involved, but statistically if you're managing 50% win rate, playing 2 series will get you out if the division. (WLL, WLW)
For a tier promotion it'd be the same idea. If you're pulling 50% you're gonna win 2/4 and lose 2/4 and its a coin toss on the 5th.
Luck is involved, but your 66% number is provably false.
Sounds to me like you could be getting tilted in your play because you get frustrated by a loss/bad luck in your promotion series.
