Australian standard stage list:
Why isn't there one? Has it ever been attempted? If so, why did it fail? If not, should there be a standard stage list for majors?

Each region has their own power monger who makes their rulesets shaped by their own opinions and bias :p

Unified rule set is nice and all, different scenes have different tastes. Lets say if one scene thinks that ensuring Diddy Kong has smashville as the first stage of a set when there would be another stage on the list that would result in a more neutral match up, compared to another who likes fair competition, then both parties wont ever agree to a unified list :p

(Two trolling serious points can I go for a third?)

Australia is generally consise on what we consider legal stages over all though. Its not like the United States where there is an extremely liberal stage list in the mid west (Norfair, green greens, distant planet, etc) compared to just down the road with only 10 legal stages.

How about we give it a shot and see what we get, we could go the way of accounting standards and introduce them as a guideline, then at a later date if they are working vote them in as a standard

As in... You wouldn't take offense but you say lots of things that are offensive?

Also people aren't bias all the time at everything.
That's a rather tactless thing to say.

And opinions do hold merit in debates, though are obviously overruled with facts that say otherwise.

Man, I wish more people were like that... Hell, even I'm not like that (though in my defence I'm a ****** that says things that sound REALLY bad and harsh compared to what I actually meant... I blame learning Japanese :p)

Corpse is definitely (imo) the best Brawl player of 2009.
He hasn't proven anything in two oh ten though.
We'll see come Robocop I guess.

The sheer ludicrosity of a fatass penguin such as the King infiniting Diddy renders all other character's infinites moot.
