I hate when people make vids like this. A lot of those characters could have made it back if their recovery didn't just consist of the second jump and up-b.

Next year I'm starting a new tournament series called 'SmashCon'.

Nice new name, a fresh start alongside LanSmash now that I know they can back me up if I need support for something bigger than the usual. Gonna be advertising it hard next year. I will consider them national, but I'll be catering for the local scene more I suppose.

Also, we should totally have an East Coast Australian Circuit for 2010.

What is your vision for an East Coast Australian circuit?

QLD, NSW and VIC nominate perhaps 1 tournament (or 2?) throughout the year players can compete in for points. (If it was 2 tournaments per state, players take their best three results from these tournaments throughout the year).

Then we could have a national finals somewhere (????)

I dunno how the ECRC is run, but it's something I'd like to see happen.


Haven't even thought about prizes either, lol.

Could take a cut of the pots from each event, and make the final national pay out to top 8.

cow is how i pronounce cao but dont really know him.. kinda dynasty warriors style cao cao. cow is awesome name like it better than kayoh =P

Install BootMii and backup your Wii's NAND, then you can use it to restore your Wii back to that state if anyone does something dumb.

If you have one of the earlier Wiis, it should be impossible for Nintendo to do anything about BootMii, as it installs to the boot section of the Wii, not regular memory/outside of wii updating range (BootMii can't install to that area on newer Wiis though, it just installs as a hidden channel accessible via Homebrew Channel in that case; same problem as before)

I'm not sure if you can get around the problem on newer Wiis by downgrading your system menu then installing bootmii, but I doubt it.

Idk what BootMii is but it sounds highly useful and I think you should do this for me at the next tournament Nath, seeing as I am incapable of comprehending any smash related technology (or technology in general).
