I rarely view this thread, but when I DO, I always hope there will be an interesting topic that I can add to. Sadly...There never is. =(
start a topic =p

I know I posted this a while ago but I don't believe that I got any (any) responses, so:

When you're playing someone who can't DI drills, how good are your drill combos?
I'm actually in the process of making a combo vid off of footage from last weekend. Everyone there (besides KK) suck at DIing drills.

drill shine combos are elementary. probably even easier than regular waveshining. the "hardest" part is the short hop lol

I didn't say drill shine, and you didn't really answer my question. I mean, you say they are elementary but you don't really expound on your ability to consistently drill into amazing.

oh your right, upon re-reading your question, I'll answer with this:

My ability to "drill combo" is limited only by my ability as a player. Non-di'd drills combo really well into all kinds of shenanigans, grabs, uptilts, shines, etc etc.

If a player can't SDI the drill, then its more about creating situations where i can consistently land drills. Theres nothing inherently difficult (or more difficult) about drill combos than any of the other million things fox players have to be good at.

I don't see how to answer it any other than that. Pretty much every other "drill combo" is really just another fox combo that got lead into via drill. I mean, they all degenerate into upthrow->upair consitency, thunders consistency etc. The drill itslef has almost no baring on the combo, especially if they don't ever sdi it. so what do you mean by "how good are your drill combos" ?
