Um notice how I didn't take any sort of position on you yet you went ahead and attacked me. Good **** lol.
What was the point of that comment?
#1 Poor logic? Like what.. my guess work that FSmash on shield could out speed f-tilt out of shield?
#2 Decayed combo's are very cool. It allows things like f-tilt> USmash, Pika CG's, f-tilt lock and many other things.
#3 I do follow up with what is practical for later decay combo's, or what avoids punishment.
#4 I messed with other character's footstool's to see what would happen. I have had some say "that is pretty cool", "you are an idiot" and "those dude's where douche's". My most recent footstool would be TL's one.
#5 I have never claimed to beat any pro's in theory ever.
#6 What do you want me to do.. grow wings and fly to a tourney. I will attend one as soon as I can.
#7 As I have said... my guess work was **** close. Now if you done jab to FSmash then I would win the argument completelyt. Ankoku said that it is impossible for Pit's FSmash to pressure like that. In the end I proved him wrong that jab could beat it and FSmash clanked. After that he put me on his ignore list.
From what I understand you yourself aren't very good either. You used Marth at C4 and didn't put up much of a fight. So before you ridicule me about how impracticle things are get good. (The person you lost to I play IRL.)
Now might I say "stop trying to diss me... I have done nothing wrong to you except prove you wrong".
I never made a claim to being good. The logic you're using to argue, "Don't attack me because you're worse than I am" for one does not really work because if that was the case then food and art critics shouldn't really exist. Inui logic does not work either, just because I lost to Mike B at C4 doesn't indicate anything about how I'll do against you, good job at beating my logic.
Furthermore I don't play enough with Sheik to take serious positions on anything but I don't think that making up complicated strings and trying to establish them as "fighting game combos" doesn't really demonstrate anything but the fact that you're aware of this option. It's not really useful to name it because when you do you're trying to say, "okay, here's string x, and if you use string x then you'll get a lot of damage! try it sometime!" as opposed to utilizing Sheik's status as "option queen" (you said it yourself) and coming up with strings on the fly.
Following up for the sake of decay combos, unless I'm misunderstanding what you're saying, isn't really practical because you're following up for specific strings. Relying on these established strings is rather difficult considering changes in stage position, percentages, strategies etc. and the nature of Brawl as a rather defensive game makes going for these types of "combos" very dangerous seeing as if you screw them up you'll get punished heavily not to mention you have so many options on variations of these as Sheik that memorizing them is really a waste of your time.
I remember you making a list of notable people you beat...over wifi. If I'm remembering correctly, of course.
I don't want you to grow wings and fly but rather keep your position on these combos to only active speculation and development as opposed to touting them as the "end all be all" as it seems you do on the Sheik boards. I'm not entirely opposed to these decay combos (in fact I think they're rather interesting) but it seems as though you're limiting the creative flexibility of Sheik simply by establishing a set number of hits that lead into a set move etc. when, once again, Sheik is an option queen. Until you've been to a tournament or have had someone else utilize these strategies actively in a tournament FOR you, I'll believe you. For the record, I was trounced by GoadMoose in some semi-serious friendlies as Marth (I was playing kinda bad though imo, maybe I just didn't know the matchup) and he didn't utilize any of these strings, instead focusing on Sheik basics like reading DI and airdodges.
Ankoku already addressed FSmash.
I went to C4, I did bad; I went to the Competition, I did bad; but I'm constantly looking for ways to improve and I have done so by defeating some top players in MMs or coming rather close in at least one or two games (Hilt @ Crunchatize Me Capem, Champ at the same tournament, Nope's Snake, Beegs' Marth), also finally beginning to come close to overcoming my negative record against Tyr_03, someone who I play with all the time. Your only achievements seem to be through Wifi, but you're not at the top yet. I encourage you to get better also, so that when we meet in tournament we will have an exciting match.
Now please, stop being so arrogant and saying that you've proven me wrong.
