Though I'm not sure you get anything more for winning a match, making even wins in this game useless. Heck it's usually the people that care about their KD that play less objectively, even in kill confirmed I see people ignoring the dog tags for fear of getting shot, so I think winning means even less to them than it does to me.

Plus killstreaks all null when put up against a support class. The Stinger knocks out everything and gives you points, and the EMP knocks out everything and stops more killstreaks from appearing. I'm one of those people that sit there and shoot the helicopters out of the sky before they even shoot.

Plus what with the Balistic Vests, or Recon Drone, or well any of the good support streaks you can help you team to win greately regardless of your K/D.

Hard to confirm, but I have to disagree. I find I get a bigger bonus when we win as a team, then when lose. Say, 3k bonus to, 1k bonus.

Camping a tag for a spawn is strategic if I know one guy is gonna be an idiot and come back for his tag. Or if there's a minor spawn trap. I had a group of 4-5 guys spawning in that weird tunnel/alley thing on Village, and racked up some nice kills, and didn't go for the tags, knowing that walking in would be my demise.

Why?

Because there's five of them in there.

I'm starting to think a little more strategic like. I eventually got killed from that spawn trap, but that's because I got greedy.

Enjoying winning should just be a plus though. Heck I had to go check my W/L ratio and it's positive apparently.

You can win by supporting your teamates and making it hard for the other team to hide. Run Recon and Hardline and heck if you get the enemy within the huge flashbang radius you light them up like a Blackbird for, what, 10 seconds? And if any of your teammates kill them you get an assist and 2 assists count towards a kill. And if you have Recon Pro you just need to hit them with 1 bullet for them to light up like a christmas tree for all your teammates to see. Unless they're running Dead Silence they're not going to be hidden from appearing on the radar. Run the support streak with it and you'll be laughing, slap on a stinger too and you've now made all their killstreaks completely useless.

None of this relies on kills, and if you're a decent player you're going to rake in the kills anyway, and the objective gametypes help you out even more when it comes to streaks and XP.

So the people that care about their K/D are deliberately making the game worse for themselves, especially as K/D means nothing in this game.

I've been pulling some really high K/D games lately, mostly because I've been playing more strategically in general.

I used to be really into bum rushing spawn points and letting my gun skill take the helm, but I was getting super frustrated with all the deaths that playstyle yields.

Lately I've been playing a tad slower and I've been thinking about my movements more carefully. I can already see results and it just goes to show that the way in which you move around the maps and where you position yourself is a pretty large factor in being successful in these games.

The only stuff which won't work would be any DLC/arcade games. You have to transfer your game licenses over to a new console in order to re-download them and play the full versions. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to send me a VM.

I kind of do, but I aim for 1.00 K/D, but playing the Objective is much more important to me. If I can net kills doing that, then hey even better.

after all the talk i was doing about how great the akimbo fmg9s are with steady aim, my play style has gotten smarters (campier? strategic). now it's more effective for me to use marksman on my mk14 class and avoid situations where i would need that close range power.

when you're that close range, it becomes an internet battle. i don't want to leave it up to connectivity issues if i can avoid it. plus the mp9 is a great side arm for mk14, imo.

MP7 extended mags silencer I miss youuuuuu. I have to unlock that thing with my next prestige token....it's better than most assault rifles.

I've also been hearing FMG9s are getting nerfed. Oh well. Akimbo skorpions are also really good.
