well shes right you should see a hand specialist. God forbid ive seen doctors mis diagnose something because it isnt in their line of study >_>
I'll see what I can do. I mean as of now, I'm stuck at college without a car. So the only possible time I could see a hand specialist is when I come back home for a monthly visit. But yea, a fractured thumb should not be lasting this long. Something else is afoot.

Lawlz, I said a-foot.

I'd rather play brawl than brawl- =/

As usual, bad luck before another tourney lol.

Also, C-sticking Nairs hasn't been working for me lately and I don't know why, it does Bairs/Fairs occasionally ;[ Didn't have that problem before.
Could be your controller. My first controller did that a lot before it screwed up too much to play.
LOL, I remember when Bored and I teamed at one tourney, we had to check controls before every match because both our controllers were screwing up.

Yea. I actually visited the doctor today. It was a different doctor, and she said I might have to see a hand specialist because it seemed like it hadn't healed at all -_-.

She did some preliminary tests and you could hear some crackling in my thumb. Anyways, we got some X-rays and it has healed a bit more. Told me to come back in 4 weeks.

SOOO...if it heals around that time, it would be 12 weeks since I broke it.

On a bright note, I can play brawl with very little pain. Only thing that sucks is it feels sore afterwards. Also, my thumb is still swollen so it's a bit weird using the control stick with a swollen thumb. In any case, I can play so time to get back to brawl shape.
GAY. Along with the not entering LT Singles.

Oh my goodness. I know someone who has been through that kind of situation several years ago. He was on crutches for a supposed fractured joint in the knee area for at least four months. The doctor kept telling him to stay on those crutches until finally his mom told the doctors that it wasn't worth the time and money. I mean, come on, I've had a brace for my knee that healed that weekend, and this guy's been on crutches for four months? *sigh*
/rant
Crutches suck. I've been on them for around that long before. Spiral fractured tibia. I thought I re-broke it around the end and I started to cry because I didn't want to go another 4-5 months of that crap. Luckily, I didn't break it again.

Tell you what, though. Going through half a year of not properly using your leg-- it's WEIRD. You wouldn't think you'd have to learn how to walk after you're 2 years old, but I had to learn how to walk again when I was 13-14.

You made a notable improvement, just get rid of those habits that wifi seems give most players(spotdodging, rolling, etc). You need to work on your spacing, that's probably one the reasons why I got some easy damage in lol
I remember at the start that I spaced you well, then I changed into wifi tactics XD Yea I'll have to work on those and hope we play again.

Yes I like brawl better, but sometimes when i get stressed from playing horribly or from playing wifi i like to take a step back and just play some Brawl Minus. Hopefully I shouldn't be getting frustrated at World Hobo. But in the event that it happens I'll have it in the hotel room =]

OMFG my friend was singing that stupid song in japanese today and it got stuck in my head!!! WTF?!?!?!

Well hopefully this year I won't fail pools so much. I was playing great today =]. But last year around Whobo time I had just learned to start using shield dashing. I lost 2nd pool game vs Vash when he went ike and was just messing around... I failed HARD at World Hobo 1.

I just got a new controller! I love it! Haven't ruined my spacing yet, but still gotta get used to this baby!
Red-X, you should get this.
Certainly seemed to be a lot better than mine when we played yesterday. I think my controller did a QD when I upBd at least 5 times just in the few matches we played. It does that a lot recently, I need a new one.

If you want to change it, go to Edit profile->Contact.
Then in the Yahoo box, type the National Pokedex ID number of the pokemon you want(use google), save changes and enjoy.

I got a Sableye. Hate.

In any case, my hiatus from SWF is probably going to be fairly long, sadly. I've got several things to do so you'll have to forgive me if I do not post for quite a while. Don't think I don't like you guys either (because I think you are all pretty cool), things just happened. Hopefully we'll still be chatting it up if (and when) I come back.

It really needs to be crammed down people's throats though.

Now you are truly RED-X

@Watkins:

I will personally try to show Ikes in Texas who aren't using it how useful it can be.

On the other hand, maybe letting other Ikes keep spamming Fair and Bair while ignoring Nair will condition people to make it easier for us.

San, has Xyro told you the time of the MM yet? Or will it be decided tomorrow? I wanna make sure I've got my laptop with the live feed on when it happens.

Also, c-sticking Nairs is 90% of the reason I prefer attack stick to smash stick. It's amazing how useful it is. The other 10% is because I can't manually walk-off Dair worth crap.

Edit: LOL @ my title. Debaters FTW. Hope I get to keep the dark purple name; better than pink.

I have a quick question. Walk-off Dairs, I know I can do them if I run and tilt my control analog diagonally forward and downward w/o a tilt-stick. My question is how can I go from right up on the edge of the stage into a walk-off dair w/o a tilt-stick? (When I mean at the edge, I mean so close he's wobbling off the edge if that makes any sense to anyone)
So my question gets ignored, so you guys can talk about t-shirts instead :( :

Speaking of t-shirts, I like how A_B and Brett generally wear the same t-shirt at these tournies. Wonder what they are gonna do since this is a 2 day event...

And if anyone wants to know, A_B wears a black shirt that says in pink "I love Math" while Brett wears a white shirt with piano keys saying something like "Tickle me".

I wear wtf I want.
