So my question gets ignored, so you guys can talk about t-shirts instead :( :
I can't imagine that's possible. It'd be similar to trying to jump off-stage, fall for a period of time and then use a Dair without fast-falling (using the smash stick). Like I said, another reason I prefer attack stick, more flexibility for Dair use.

So I'm thinking about maining Lucario instead of Ike because I went offline playing some people with Lucario and did VERY VERY well compared to me using Ike.

Discuss. :(

EDIT: I don't even know if it matters anyways. I leave for basic in a month, and idk if I'm able to play vid games while stationed wherever. I think I could... right? Like go off base for tourneys sometimes? :/

This happens to a lot of people who main low tiers... i put only a fraction of time in Pikachu compared to Ike yet Pikachu does better for me.

Oh well, thanks anyways. No flexibility, I can't use tilt-sticks because I can't get past always accidently neutral airing. xP I might change it to give it another shot though...

Well that's kinda the case. Me taking a game of Kismet's falco with Ike is, for me, really good, but I hardly have a chance to go to tourneys, and going to one just to get sorta high with Ike is just... I don't see a point. I'm sure I would've placed 3rd going Lucario at that tournament, but regardless I would use Ike to dominate Low Tier MUs and SOME mid while Lucario takes on high tiers.

San is so **** good. He makes Ike look like a high tier. It's freshing to see someone stick to their character regardless of tier position. I'm enjoying watching him at WHobo.

Well here is the jist of results.

LT Dubz: San and I got third, we lost to Espy and K'Prime (really good Zelda and Jiggs team), and Ally and Atomsk (Falcon + Mario). I think individually we could beat them, but doubles is just another story...

LT Singles: San wrecked the entire thing. He didn't lose a single let and made that money. I didn't do so well, I lost to RoyR's Falcon and Dojo's Jiggz (courtesy of A_B forfeiting when we played). I don't know how far Brett and Slaps got.

Reg Doubles: I didn't entier, not sure about everyone else.

Reg Singles: San got 17th, I got 25th, Brett and Slaps got 33rd. Yea we all made it out of pools. I don't even know how I got so far in the bracket to be quite honest.

San lost to Lee Martin's MK and I believe Trela's Lucario.

I lost to Esca's MK and Hylian's ICs.

Brett lost to Hyro and somebody else.

Slaps...ok first let me tell you this funny story. So Slaps' first match is vs Inui. Inui doesn't take him seriously, and goes Ganon. Slaps 2-0's him and advances. I'm talking with one of the hosts, and Inui just runs up and says "I lost, I quit" and I never saw him at the venue again LOL. So Inui got last place! I don't know who Slaps lost too though. There were tough matches all around from the get go.

I think that wraps up all the events and big matches. I talked about San's "MM" with Xyro in the hype thread. If you guys have any other questions feel free to ask me. I'm sure Brett, Slaps, and San will eventually answer anything personal about their matches if you want to know.

i hope boreds thumb is ok
Dark, my thumb is okay. To be honest, it had healed enough to where it didn't bother me too much. It was **** sore after Friday, and was hurting a bit after Saturday. I didn't really use it as an excuse at the tournament though. I'm a firm believer of if you are gonna play through an injury, then you are declaring yourself ready. No excuses.

I think what hurt me the most was the fact that because of my thumb, I hadn't played in 2 months. It was disappointing to mess up on so many little things. Like missing a grab/smash when the opponent air dodges into you, doing those bad habits that I once stopped doing, not reading my opponents as well, and losing creativity in hitting people with my moves. I definitely would have done overall better if I hadn't had the layoff. I think any of the Texas Ikes or anyone who knows me well can attest to that.

On a bright note, after I got eliminated in Reg Singles, I felt somewhat more energized courtesy of Slaps and I doing some silly friendlies. I was definitely playing faster and smarter after those friendlies. A little too late I guess, but at least I found the groove. Downside is, playing at that pace hurts my thumb way too much.

Well I'm done johning. The end. I will start resuming my roll as a troll on these boards.

Second Edit: There were a lot of hilarious moments that I will post later. Here's a small teaser. I let Slaps beat me in friendlies like 6 times in a row, and then I took his dollar in a MM LOL.

WHOBO2 was fun. Met some people, had lots of friendlies. I was a bit burnt out second day but managed to pull through.

Lots of mains of characters I never play against was a really nice experience for me.

I played RoyR round 1 of reg singles. Didn't take 1 stock off of him, 2-0ed 3stocked both games. I played Inui in losers. Then I had to play Duffman who I would have beaten if it weren't for Arturito Burrito coaching him on how to beat me after i won the first game.

LT doubles me and Zolo wrecked and took Inui+M2K to game 3 but shoulda won, lost due to stupid mistakes. After that we kinda lost it in losers and lost to a team we definitely shouldn't have.

LT singles I played Zigsta's Bowser first, won that, then played Xyro and got 2 stocked on live stream -_- messed up soooooooooo much. In losers i played Jerm's Link... 3 stocked him game 1 and lost it the next 2 games which i was pissed about.

Regular doubles was just lulzy and waste of money haha.

Random funny moments at WHOBO:

1. Broly (Marth player who is disabled and uses his tongue and one hand to play smash. REALLY GOOD PLAYER) singing on the mic. Xyro told him to shut up over his own mic after saying "What's that horrible sound?"

2. Inui getting OWNED. Inui was complaining about seeding and etc, Xyro completely told him off. Basically along the lines of "Stop *****ing and acting like you're on your period. If you wanna talk, I'm fine with that..."

3. Rave. It was pretty crazy. Started super late (1:30) so I was pretty burned out. It was loud, there were laser lights flying everywhere, and I think the best part was that Hylian got his glow sticks jacked while grinding on a girl LOL.

4. Winner's semis, LT dubz...San and I were playing M2K and Inui. Third match, me and M2K are out, and after San beats Inui while both were at super high damage, Inui throws his controller to the ground. I'm sure Kimchi was trolling the live stream.

5. Fogo with a red haired wig. My reaction, O_o;

6. A_B sneaking himself into the Ike Main picture.

7. A lot of good cosplayers around, but one of my favorites was teh RE4 Merchant. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, then you would understand the hilarity and greatness in it.

8. A woman dressed as Hitler. Nuff said.

RE4 merchant said he mistook me for someone else and left. I really needed that new shotgun dammit

@Bored: Don't forget the super-white handshake, even though we're both not even white lol.

Broly really uses his tongue to play.....I thought people were joking about that LOL

Also, RE4 merchant dies in a single hit. Pretty annoying if you happen to hit him by accident.
