I think it was M@v who mentioned why that was a terrible idea before. Because it means that you could very likely be eliminated from the tournament from only losing a single match. That sucks balls, especially for a tournament of this caliber.

Yeah, going to bracket directly after R1 pools would actually be better than R2 pools with top 2 advancing, because in bracket you can always afford to lose ONE set.

Yup that was me. Since I pointed it out, watch it happen to me, in round one pools >_>

I didn't make it out of APEX 2010 round 1 pools(top 3 of 7 make it out) even though I went 4-2, so I have a history of getting the short stick

right now 64 man bracket means more ""random"" results. 3 round of pools \ 2 rounds were top 32 make out produce more accurate results but it's up to the TO
