No I don't mind at all Maxx. I have a couple other chars, but I know how awesome you guys on the mainland are so I'm sure you'll destroy all of my other chars. lolz
This is just a totally random question, mainly cause I just got Central Air Con. Is the venue gonna have AC or fans? Some form of ventilation? I'm just curious cause 200 some-odd people will probably generate alot of heat. lolz =w=

Yeah, I don't mind playing any or all of your characters, my goal for this thing is to play as many people from out of state as I can. That and make it out of pools. I'm no TGM, though.

So please keep it on topic. Oc3 is 3 weeks away. People who are going should register and post their flight information.
Those who are flying in earlier should post questions about housing offered by the people of so cal. If they cannot get housing from so cal from the smashers here atleast band together and get a motel nearby the venue. It is urgent you smashers do that now if you plan on getting to the tournament 2 or 3 days earlier or plan to stay after oc3 for evo.
As for the tournament itself during night hours meaning lock up hours people can leave the venue , but will not get re entry meaning you wont get back in. So do not leave. Nobody will get in from outside. In addition to this we want the smashers inside to be respectful of the warehouse. Meaning no fights, stealing, harming other players by tormenting them in odd ways, messing with the females in their separated rooms, etc. If things get out of hand you will be escorted out of the venue and left to find your own housing for the remainer of the time. Any questions please feel free to ask us.

Due to the lack of participants in the banner contest. It's not the lack of banners, lots of staff staff have oc3 banners to promote the tournament because its going to be huge. I'm doing this to boost the morale of oc3 and get more players who are attending involved in banners and banner making. Since im an artist it's another way to see what artists smash boards have to offer. I know a lot of people could care less, but why not give a try? right? Im going to base prizes off participants this year, and its now set as stone for prizes:
Disclaimer: You must be an oc3 registered participant to enter and be there on the day of the event. If you arent going you arent allowed to enter, it would be a waste of both our times.

Oc3 is still going to be a blast though =). 15 more days and counting down.
people wont be excited till they meet bombsoldier in person, then they say **** i should have entered that banner contest to get a chance at him. I mean its just a banner contest , people can enter if they want and dont have to if they dont want too. I could care less in their decision, however, i can make it more exciting by offering new prizes, which i have done.
Oc3 is still going to be a blast though =). 15 more days and counting down.

I really don't feel like waiting half a year again just to watch some matches that I forgot I was dieing to see. If you guys are going to make people pay to watch, can they at least come out really, really, really soon? A week is pushing it when it comes to other tourney's putting stuff up from youtube.

However it takes time to make the dvds so if people prefer ****ty dvds we can rush it lol. Otherwise let us take our time we are quite busy people. If I didnt go to college and sat home all day i would have so much time to make the dvds, but i dont =(.
the sooner we release the sooner it goes all over the web by some nutjob who acts nice then hates the dvd. It happened for the oc2 dvd and it will happen again. However, this year dvds are getting individual passwords sent with the user. Meaning if someone uploads it we know who it is. Its only because people would have to enter the code just to watch it. Last year we couldnt track people and we found a way around it. Besides all this...

I hope the builiding will be air conditioned, especially with the summer heat coming at us. Having over 200+ attendies sweating in a building is not a good place to be in.

It has AC, but not outside of the rooms. Unfortunately, we won't be playing inside of the rooms.
However there are Fans outside of the rooms. I suppose during the day it'll get pretty hot/warm, but during the evening it'll get pretty cool. would you rather play smash in the heat or the cold? I'd pick heat anyday
frozen fingers is what hurts you, not hot and sweaty ones nope, i think you're up against Zjin for 1st place right now since there are so little entrants. However, I think if you make another banner you might have a better chance at winning. Originality is what matters. Just remember that Concept is the key, even if execution is lacking.

Milktea lol, you havent lost yet. Remember judging splits. Meaning helen could like your banner more the zjins, same with arash, or ken.
Zjin - I had to change it based off participants. Its kind of ridiculous when nobody wants to enter lol. Right now there are 3 participants being you , milktea, and atlus. Atlus knows he doesnt stand a chance, so your basically up against milktea for a game with bombsoldier =). Either way its experience.
However there is time left, just go get 50 more smashers who are going to oc3 to make banners =).

We will probably have some fans going where the stations wont be, hopefully when oc3 rolls around it wont be too hot. I also play like crap in heat.
