Why would I want to pay on avg. 75% more on applications that I do not need. Also programs like ventrilo and TS are faulty on macs.

If you take care of your PC...clicking 2 buttons once every day and 1 once a week....you are not getting any viruses.

@Steel: I'm not thirteen, but it's in the ballpark and I'm not picky. I've used Macs and PCs plenty. While Mac is the superior operating system, the majority of the applications on a Mac could be downloaded via the internet, and even without those downloads, they are not worth the extra money; the best useful programs are independent of the operating system itself. In terms of which is the faster, more effective and has the most capabilities, Mac takes the cake, but PC is worth the price cut, overall.
