It’s funny when fake leaks show the most random, specific things about a character they’re “leaking.”
“Hey guys, I got an image of one frame of the next character’s victory animation!”
“Everyone look, I took a picture of the next reveal trailer right as it says the not actual game footage part!”
“Oh my god I have a screenshot of the full smash banner with new characters and it’s printed out for some reason!”

like if you’re really a nintendo employee or something would you even have access to those extremely specific things?

It maybe would have been funny some time else, but that fact that people are sharing the “southerners rebuilding their house in the same place that gets hit by a hurricane every two months” meme now is really insensitive.

Can we seriously stop idealizing people who gather extremely personal details about chris chan and her life under the guise of saying it’s “preserving internet history?” You could argue that the story of kiwi farms’s conflict with her is pretty interesting and deserves to be told to see how bad both parties are, and I agree with that to an extent but still the fact that people gather information about Chris’s childhood, schooling, interests, dislikes, family and more to what is pretty much a historically notable degree is completely unnecessary and really ****ing weird.

I’m certainly not saying anyone should respect or like this horrible human being, but still the amount of coverage on this one life is seriously concerning. The best thing to do is literally to just ignore this person, and people who spend their whole life gathering all these details for literally no reason need to grow up.

pac-land is a really bad stage and probably one of the worst ones in the series besides 75m, but pac-maze really wasn't that good either. I wouldn't call it awful or anything but I just really didn't like it.

Okay so as if the website being down and me not knowing anything wasn’t a bad enough start for a first day of school, now I waited for 10 minutes for a bus with like 20 other people at the same stop only for the driver to say “no it’s full” when it got to the stop and drive away. I spotted like three empty seats in the bus and no one was standing up. The next bus comes in 20 minutes, which also happens to be nine ****ing minutes after school starts. I hate this so much.

Hot take: The SNES was the last time a Nintendo system (discounting handhelds because those often have mostly new games made for them) truly had good third party support. Now yes, the switch and other Nintendo systems like the Wii have pretty good third party support but that’s just compared to other nintendo systems. When you actually compare them to their competitors they really can’t compare in terms of how many big AAA titles released on then. Of course “third party support” isn’t measured by just AAA titles, and the switch and wii do have a pretty good collection of smaller games, but still it’s pretty lacking in terms of third party support, especially because switch ports arent the norm for new titles the way PS4 and xbox one ports are.

I have a feeling that the spiderman no way home trailer is the kind of thing that’s deliberately meant to be misleading, and has a plot that’s very different from the actual movie. Like what happened with the initial Endgame trailers.

I dunno, the movie just feels like it’s gonna be a huge landmark movie in the MCU, and so I just don’t buy the idea that the plot will be as simple as: “spiderman gets help from dr strange but it doesn’t work and bad things happen be careful what you wish for”

i remember a while back I had to stop playing mgs peace walker because I literally couldn’t mash the button fast enough during the torture segment. Like I literally physically couldn’t mash a button really fast.

honestly though the fact that they made it a mandatory part of the game you need to beat to progress the story was really bad tbh. Also I played on the Xbox 360 version and thr controller is apparently harder to mash buttons on

continuing off of the “why porky shouldn’t be in smash” profile posts saga…

I’ve thought about it and I’ve realized I don’t think Pyramid Head should be in smash, for the same reason I don’t think Masked Man should be in smash. (If anyone has no idea what I’m talking about, look at my posts and scroll down to the one about masked man in smash)

Pyramid Head could probably work moveset-wise but I don’t think he should get into smash because of what he symbolizes and what his purpose in the Silent Hill series is.Judging from what I can tell about the series, I believe he’s supposed to represent the guilt of the protagonist, more specifically his desire for punishment after he killed his wife which is really dark, and you can’t really “censor” this association for smash without taking away a part of the Pyramid Head character, and because of that I just don’t think it would really be appropriate to have him in smash. A silent hill protagonist might be pretty cool though

I remember pointing out that not everyone might have access to pirating modern nintendo games or buying them used and a certain user on this site who will remain unnamed said something like “but used games are available on amazon
Like seriously? You’re gonna buy a game on amazon because you want to avoid giving money to the unethical nintendo? What are you talking about?

Seriously though, shopping ethical is really unfortunately, a privilege. Not everyone can shop local or avoid things like amazon so getting mad at them for doing so is really unproductive. Of course people should do it while they can but it’s not always an option and people need to recognize this.

Judging from the trailers, Metroid Dread seems like a rather “no-frills” experience and for a series like Metroid, I like it.

I mean we’re probably going to get more items and definitely going to explore a new world, but as of right now it doesn’t really seem like we’re going to get many new series-changing gameplay mechanics or even just especially big new gameplay mechanics which is good because it’s been so long since the last truly new 2D Metroid. I could be wrong but that’s what I think as of now.
