Early Man is a great movie, but I must admit that "caveman football" is a better premise for a game than a movie.
Nick Brawl speculation has the exact opposite problem from SSBU speculation pre-Sephiroth

Top 20 clones - not inherently echoes, nor inherently semi-clones. I'm imagining Tatanga as a Jr. clone and The Amazon as an Incineroar clone but everyone else explains themselves.

The recent rise in SpongeBob spin-offs reminds me a lot of all those surreal Flintstones spin-offs Hanna Barbera made for a brief period in the 70s and 80s.

Sonic 1 is underrated. It's the only game in the franchise I feel truly rewards careful management of speed. That doesn't make it the best, Mania and 3K triumph over it in many ways and I'd argue Sonic 2 to be of an equal quality, but I think there's just as much merit to Sonic 1's "punish mindless speed, reward strategic speed" level design as the other games' "platforming is the challenge, mindless speed is the reward" level design.

There's no such a thing as a "responsible gun owner". It is an oxymoron.
The bad guy with a gun kills because he has no self-control, the "good" guy with a gun kills because that's what he actually believes is morally right and will actively decide to do.
Frankly, the bad guy has the moral high ground.
Let's say you get a 5-game-deal with Nintendo to make whatever games you want with their established IPs and characters - what do you make? For me:
- Drill Dozer remake
- Proper Yoshi's Island sequel
- Complete Game & Watch Gallery including licensed games, Mini Classics, variants, and Nelsonic Game Watches, as well as multiplayer options
- Some sort of "obscure character" crossover with Waluigi as the mascot (not sure what genre though, football or foot racer perhaps?)
- 3D Mole Mania reboot
CEoTFK is, IMO, the peak of Bubsy's characterisation. I like that he's a little more of a vulnerable wimp than your regular scrimblo and has that right balance of self-deprication without coming off like he's trying to excluse the poor quality of the game.
The cartoon pilot has my least favourite take on Bubsy, an overconfident narcissist who would be better fit for a villain role, and that unfortunately because the standard for the series in the reboot - though they toned down the narcissism well enough for him to not become as obnoxious as in the cartoon. Bubsy 3D is a bit of an outlier because that take on him feels like another character all together, more of a curious if snarky kitten than a smug megastar bobcat.
Should I write a serious, long essay about Bubsy? I earnestly love this franchise even though it's objectively garbage.
People often say "why Ashley? what does she do?" but that's the exact reason I want Ashley. I want characters with new moves never before seen, and to not know what to expect from their playstyle when they get in. Ashley, a character with a very specific theme but few known powers, fits that bill perfectly.

The only Smash characters I think should get radical reworks are Sonic, Min Min, and Daisy. Daisy is the only one of these "game accuracy" really plays a role in my thoughts on.
If we were to get an original character in Smash, I'd prefer them to be designed to exist within one of the series already in Smash. Always thought it'd be cool to introduce a proper Warpichi through Smash.
Technically Dark Pit was that but still.

If Tetromino gets in Smash, I want it to be as lifelessly animated as possible, not spinning when it gets hit, or even registering taunt inputs. Ever seen that Brawl mod that replaces Yoshi with a T-posing Tommy Pickles? Yeah, that's what I'm going for.
Post this video to scare people who think Smash shouldn't be played or designed competitively because "that wasn't Sakurai's intention."
If the purple leak is real, I think it's most likely to be Waluigi - but that could be bias speaking.

I watched this without knowing the sound was sampled from the Looney Tunes sitcom and I thought the voice acting was original, it fits the characters that well.
Nintendo just released a WarioWare ad on Switch news written as if if Wario was writing it.
Wario putting a "<3" emoji at the end of a letter is both extremely off-character and also extremely fitting.
"Defeated" is a real word, but the way the Smash announcer says it, as well as how many times you hear it in an 8-player stock battle, makes it sound like a made up word like "funner" or "deconfirmed" -
