I like how the Shantae Mii costume doesn't have a male model. I feel that was either mandated by WayForward (the existence of a "WayForward boob mandate" would not be even remotely surprising), or Namco knew what people were going to do with it.
I was looking on Shared Content and saw a stage titled "stop posting 18+!" - not surprising on its own, you get a ton of those - but for some reason the person who posted it seemingly spent hours perfecting a detailed monochrome anime girl with a single ice tear coming out her eye as she pretends to smile - I mean, I don't like the booba stuff either but that's a bit of a dire overreaction, ey?
It'd be kinda funny if they added some sort of non-7 Final Fantasy rep to Smash and seeing all the people who only know White Mage from Mario Hoops being utterly distraught she isn't a pink-haired short-dressed Rosalina recolour in canon.

I have this weird habit where whenever I see something funny, even if it's not a meme, and actually laugh I vocally exclaim "subject of joke memes".
So if you show me this wacky image for example, I will chortle and say "Knuckles Memes." in a casual tone of voice.
Instead of watching the rotting corpses of the Animaniacs puppeteered to make bad Trump jokes you can find on literally any Twitter feed again, listen to the Pinky & The Brain GBA game soundtrack. It slaps.
I was on the Beano (Dennis the Menace) website, it's basically just Buzzfeed for kids, and I'm trying to wrap my head around what this could possibly mean
Hype is temporary, good game design lasts forever.
I just wrote a self-insert fanfiction about me creating Smash Bros. and getting screwed over by Nintendo corporate, then going to a bunch of other companies with the concept and also getting screwed over by them.
Is this a sign of mental issues? Should I or my family be worried?

IMO SwSh isn't Sonic 06 bad, but it isn't anywhere near a high point for the series either - a solid attempt given the circumstances (budget being spent on Post Malone concerts, yearly deadlines, corporate mandates, a general lack of interest in Pokémon within Game Freak, first true HD game after working with underpowered handheld hardware for 2 decades) but they can do better. A lot of the criticisms are justifiable - especially when it comes to story writing, PR, and business models - but tend to get drowned out by asinine complaints about low poly trees, reused animations, and the National Dex.
Bundling older titles with newer releases, like in SADX and most non-maze Pac-Man games, should've become game industry standard a long time ago - though I disagree with the prospect of making them unlockable.

ClayMates and Jelly Boy have the exact opposite problems - one's too fast with its "Blaze Processing" and the other is too slow.

The negative impact McDonald's deals have had on outside media is immense,

- McDonald's censored Batman Returns and prevented Tim Burton from working with the IP in future
- McDonald's got Camp Lazlo cancelled
- McDonald's is supposedly responsible for sexing up Lola Bunny
Damn, people on the Smash Infinite thread genuinely believe letting people pay for something when they don't know what they're paying for isn't inherently predatory.
A lot of my most wanted Smash fighters you could never do the heart emoji "let X fans be happy!" thing with because they literally do not have fanbases. If you try to tweet "let Mole Mania fans be happy!
" you'd be written off as insane by even the most toxic optimists and devoted Mole Maniacs.

I love how since Sony removed all the EarthBound music, the first result when you YouTube search "Smiles & Tears" is a pre-SiIvaGunner bait-and-switch video that ends with a Bubsy voice clip
In hindsight I really don't understand why 1-year-ago me brought the Min Min DLC. At least with Byleth I can say I got suckered by capitalism and take a little less of the blame, buying Minjamin Minjamin was 100% on me.
I really want to see a Smash trailer where a character generously gives up their invitation to another character, like the Shadman Waluigi comic.
I think that if there was to be an Xbox crossover it shouldn't be a platform fighter, or a fighter at all. I think it should be the first earnest attempt at making a true competitive kart racer (that isn't a mod at least)

For some reason it's always the franchises that have fell steeply downhill to the point of being a lost cause that do the orchestral emomanip anniversary ads.
One thing that makes me a bit happy is that Bowser's Nintendo does seem to listen to backlash - Skyward Sword and the Zelda G&W aren't limited, and they haven't touched competitive Smash to my knowledge since the Big House drama, even cancelling their official Smash tournaments they have no clue how to run. It's probably just for damage control money, but just as good intent doesn't justify bad actions, ill intent doesn't dull the effects of good deeds.
I've been writing an achievements list for my planned game, and I feel I may have to explain the "beat the game in a single sitting without pausing, idling, going to the home screen, taking damage or dying while using a negative-effect cheat code" achievement in court some day -
