I honestly don't see what's so "HD" about Skyward Sword HD. Like, surely they could just release it with the old name?

The Sonic Boom cartoon probably would've been better recieved if it was tied to a series with a more consistently comical tone like Crash or Mario... and also if it wasn't aired early in the morning and falsely advertised as an action cartoon.

Conservapedia, the right-wing nutjob conspiracy version of Wikipedia, has articles listing the "worst" liberal movies and TV shows - some of the media they try to find political commentary is is astounding - their "worst liberal movies" list has the Alpha and Omega sequels, Barnyard, Legally Blonde, and the '98 Godzilla. Their description for Almost Naked Animals on the TV show list is downright insane even by conspiracy theory standards..

I seriously am inable to think of any concepts for a Cortex moveset besides using mines, but I've got tons of ideas for how Bertie the Brain could play in Smash.
Project Triangle Strategy? sounds like a pyramid scheme to me.
Cramming a tiny screen and Raspberry Pi into a Game Boy Colour isn't impressive at all when stuff like this exists.
For some reason a lot of people seem to think early gaming history is just "Computer Space. Pong. Space Invaders. Magnavox Odyssey. Pac-Man. Mario. Zelda. Sonic" when it's MUCH more complex and long than that. I feel this narrative is often pushed to exaggerate the historical importance of series like Metroid, Mega Man, and Crash Bandicoot that didn't really do much for gaming outside their own genres.
Given how many memes went around about the British-ness of Galar, I can only imagine the reaction to an Australia region.
I just read the plot synopsis for Bugsnax and I don't know why people think it's so dark. Maybe the imagery is more unsettling than the actual themes? Either way, it seems to me like a relatively standard kids' spooky story with a somewhat shocking twist.

If that's the niche you're aiming for with the work as a whole then hell yeah, go for it with no limits! Sexualise and fetishize whatever you want, regardless of societal norms.
If it's in a work where the intent is to actually have characters, make a fun game, tell a story, e.t.c. - especially a sequel to a less sexualised work - just don't. You'll simply isolate fans who aren't there for that and ruin your work's reputation.

There's this weird, decades-recurrent trend of Disney movies beginning with an easy to grasp but awful message and then changing to a harder to swallow but much more useful message half way through, but the awful message sticks with people more and ends up being used more in marketing material.

Thinking back about Nintendo Directs I really don't have many good memories of them, just losing sleep to watch tedious anime RPGs and indie sizzle reels. What I'm trying to say is...
Nintendo Direct was never good.
You know what I would've done in Sakurai's shoes? Two passes, one for more realistic and anime-esque fighters, and the other for goofier and cartoonier fighters, released concurrently. Good way to keep variety and make sure nobody gets something they don't want from the Fighters Pass gamble.
