Pokémon Center has just updated and it seems that 2025 is the "Year of Eevee", even with its own logo. Presumably this is just a merch celebration.

With Prismatic Evolutions releases covering all year, it makes sense.

Upgrade to more modern online server technology
Make the basic online features of your games not locked behind the subscription service

After thinking about it, I’ve become a little more open to the next Mario Kart dabbling in more guest content…but only a little. Hence,
I've decided to do what Delzethin did and make two Mario Kart rosters: one that's focused on Mario-adjacent content, and another that dabbles into guest content. Only two things will be 100% consistent:

I've been listening to some Sentai insert songs, and man...I wish at least of the Sentai music made it into Power Rangers. The Red Puncher song from Ohranger particularly sounds like a song that would be right up Ron Wasserman's alley.

I’ve been thinking about some of the comments I’ve made those year about “what if the Jim Henson Creature Shop made Power Rangers” and now I’d like to imagine such a timeline. Maybe the franchise would feel less overtly cheap, limitations of tokusatsu aside? Maybe the Creature Shop would be able to collab with Toei to design some Super Sentai characters? Would the PR side of things still continue the practice of splicing in Sentai footage?

Anyone here remember Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time? It used a special engine called Pollux that allowed the DS version to be emulated via the Wii version.

However, this engine was never used again, not even by Square Enix. Which is a shame, because I can name at least 20 DS games that would get mileage out of this engine.

I’ve had trouble putting into words why I don’t want a Nintendo Kart, but I think I’ve finally found a succinct way to put it: the crossover aspect of Smash isn’t something you can just replicate. Hence, I think it would be more worth the effort to create a Mario Kart game that properly celebrates the history of Mario and the adjacent franchises like Luigi’s Mansion and Donkey Kong.

Idk, I usually see Smash speculators bring up characters Who are waaaay more popular in the USA than say, characters who were huge in Europe and Asia such as Alex Kidd, Guybrush Threepwood or Mark Evans from Inazuma Eleven.

In that sense, I would welcome and invite people who aren't from the USA and wanna partake in Smash Speculation to go wild. I used to be a big supporter of the Dragon Quest 8 Hero in Smash, and people told me a lot he wouldn't happen. Fast forward to 2019 and I see him join Smash Brothers in the words of Sakurai "due to Western fan-requests".

So yeah people, don't be afraid to go out of the usual and so.

This post perfectly sums up why Smash speculation has made me so bored of it. ~~Just another reason why I’m ashamed to be an American~~

You guys know how with NASB, the characters were only allowed to have official alternate appearances as alternate costumes? Honestly, I think that might serve to the benefit of Noah and Mio, since Xenoblade 3 has plenty of alternate outfits for them. What other characters (be they newcomer or veteran) do you think would benefit from their alts consisting entirely of official alternate appearances?
