Honestly, if I was making the next Smash game then I would absolutely NOT try to appeal to the people in the competitive community who think old movesets are too “iconic” to leave behind. I’m sorry, but their definition of “iconic” is NOT more important than changing a moveset for the better.
You guys know how Power Rangers Super Megaforce treated the Gokaiger suits as a super mode upgrade to the Goesiger suits? Honestly, I think Mighty Morphin’ season 2 should’ve done the same with the Dairanger suits. The Rangers could still use the Zyuranger suits for the Z-Putty fights, then upgrade to the Dairanger suits for the monster of the week.
If I could make three wishes to genie, they would be:
- I wish housing was free
- I wish all the money that every billionaire has was given to people of all classes all over the world
- I wish the world was run by good, honest people

Anyone else feel like 2020 was the death of innocence for just about everybody?
My main idea for customization in the next Mario Kart is to have a “Garage” mode where you can customize each individual character on the select screen (costumes, vehicle bodies, paint jobs, etc.). Then, when you select that character before a race, they appear the way you customized them on the select screen and then you jump straight to the track select screen after choosing a character.
Out of all the candidates for a second Persona character in Smash, I think Aigis has arguably the most to pull from for a moveset, but especially from her appearance in Persona 4 Arena.
Y’know, I really wish more of the Smash fan base was as passionate about video games as a whole as Sakurai is. It would really make Smash speculation a lot more fun and a lot more varied.
Now that I think about it, sometimes I wish YouTubers got a penny if not a dollar for every view their videos get.
I hate it when a chimp shoves a rocket barrel up my arse. That’s why I have [insert insurance company that has nothing to do with my situation here]
I’m pretty confident in saying that because of how much of a success 8 Deluxe was, the next full Mario Kart game will launch within the first year of the Switch 2’s life cycle, if not as a launch title.
If I ever had the time and skills for video editing, then I’d love to do an Order 66 AMV with Rufus Wainwright’s Hallelujah playing over it.
God, I can't wait for the next Smash to at least have its development confirmed so we can open character support threads back up.

I think Schaff’s Megamind 2 video enlightened me on how nostalgia pandering can go wrong: appealing to people whose taste in media is in perpetual arrested development.
You know, for how simplistic Spirits are in terms of development, I kinda wish they had a “no stone left unturned” mentality in terms of which properties get representation via Spirits. Not just among Nintendo properties, but among the properties owned by, at the very least, the 3rd party companies whose characters are in base SSBU.

Do you guys think the next Smash should be co-developed by Nintendo EPD?
Honestly, why should Waluigi just remain as "the mascot of Assist Trophies" when there are people who genuinely want to see him playable, including myself? That just seems like a disrespectful label people slap onto him for the sake of maintaining the status quo. I don't care if that's Waluigi's joke in Smash as is; eventually, the joke of being an Assist Trophy just gets old after multiple games.
I'm surprised I haven't seen a No Context Schaffrillas account on Twitter yet. I almost wanna make one myself.
