Any cartoon can be an anime if you're speaking Japanese.
Solo game dev that goes by the name "The Dev Team" and uses they/them pronouns to make people think they're multiple people.
Steam early access can basically mean anything from "a basically finished game but there's one rarely encountered minor bug in the entire game that the devs want to fix before calling it finished" to "this is the first build of the game that runs."
The ninjas vs public domain game should add Don Quixote for the sole purpose of adding a windmill mecha piloted by ninjas as a boss.
I don't even know if they're planning on adding bosses but they should still do it.

I feel like a lot of public domain horror works fall flat to fanmade horror versions of the same things made before they became public domain cause more often than not the reasons for the fan things are "I like horror and I like this character, so I'll make a horror version of this character." while the reasons for the public domain horror are "seeing this character in a horror setting is shocking, so I'll make a horror version of this character to shock people."

I like how you can find out the time zone of nearly everone you know online on New Year's Eve.
Thoughts on various platform fighters for the new year:
- Fraymakers: A decent effort, love the spritework and the assist system, though I do think it's a bit of a shame that a player who's losing hard can't use them that much. Wish they'd let you use the sketched versions of characters. I hope that the devs get it to the game they want it to be.
- Slap City: The aesthetics are on point in this game. I love the style and the characters are all really fun.
- NASB: Feels a little rusty and light, but still a fun game and it's cool seeing these characters together
- Multiversus: Couldn't really get into it but it seems cool. Prolly won't play much dur to being a f2p game.
- Smash Bros Ultimate: Honestly, I feel like there are actually too many characters in this game and the style isn't exactly eye-catching, but the gameplay is still decent and I can appreciate the effort
- Smash Remix and Super Smash Flash 2: They both look really good and have some really neat choices, but I just can't play a game without a dedicated Smash button. Sorry.
- Rivals of Aether: Great gameplay, great characters, a lot of little choices I love like the more reserved camera and the 2D sprites. Great in general. Even though I probably won't play the sexond, I still hope it's successful

Smash Bros Ultimate is one of the Nintendo games, and possibly one of the games when looking at games as a whole.

I feel like Terraria and Cave Story get shafted way too much in COGH rosters. Cave Story arguably kickstarted indie games as we know them today by showing that the work of a single developer could rival major studios. Terraria is the 13th best selling game of all time, the (somewhat debatably) first indie game on the list.

A while ago I posted a "1 character COGH roster" with just Mario, but I had a thought related to it. If there was a 2 character COGH roster, who should be the other character? Sonic? Probably not, Mario already represents platformers and Sonic would mainly only uniquely represent 90's console wars. Though that was a big part of gaming history. A Call of Duty character? Minecraft Steve? A Pong Paddle? A Spacewar ship? Should the next character be the next most important thing or should they be able to compliment Mario in some way? Should the first character even be Mario?
People who parrot "show don't tell" when they see a story that uses a framing device of someone telling a story.
