More games should do what yakuza like a dragon did and add an actual real life actress as a party member. Not playing a character, but playing herself and herself is a party member.

A random idea I just had is they should make a WWE vs Capcom wrestling game. Most Capcom characters would probably be fighting game characters (and of course Haggar would have to be a character) but also they should have like dante or someone comically overpowered for a wrestling game

People here who speak multiple languages: when you speak a loanword that originates from your native language (or vice versa) while speaking another language do you normally say it imitating the accent of the language you're speaking or just how you would normally say it?
Personally I speak French and if it's the name of a word like "hamburger" that's the same in english and french I'll just say it the french way without the h sound and whatnot, but if it's the name of any company, product, movie, etc. I'll just pronounce it normally
I remember playing Ghost of Tsushima and I used a poison attack to kill a guard and then the character had a flash back to his uncle telling him to fight honourably or something, to indicate that's kinda against the samurai code or whatever. Except the character who told me this was literally right next to me on the mission and said nothing.

People make the "haha joss whedon did that just happen" jokes about the mario wonder talking flowers but the problem with that writing is that it devalues the story. Seeing as how it's a mario game does it doesn't really matter here.

In honour of the Zelda movie announcement I would like to shoutout the time I had a brief role in a Zelda movie project my friend’s older brother made. The only scene I was in was as a random jailer in Kakariko village where I have someone imprisoned (a dog kennel was used as the jail) and then Link shows up and asks why he’s in a cage so I say in a really robotic voice “that man is in jail because he did something wrong” so then Link chases after him. I think the random prisoner had the master sword too for some reason, I can’t really tell. Also I’m like 90% sure this project never made an actual movie and I certainly didn’t get to see any finished product

I really don’t submit stuff to vg facts that much but also at this rate I’ll probably have submitted one trivia for at least one of every yakuza game
the only reason I actually really submit that many for that franchise in particular is that it’s very underrepresented and there are a lot of youtubers who make facts videos or just talk about obscure knowledge in it
It’s funny when shonen anime’s OST technically was written for a movie and so all the tracks that play in the anime are titled like “Vs. King Scrimbly’s Elite Forces” and such a character never appears in the actual show

So right at the moment where a worker says he’s on strike I improvise a line where I say “You’re on strike? How bad could I possibly be?” and I make the entire room groan including people acting alongside me
