Jesus, one of the Lincoln fans on the NASB thread just disappeared forever after the stage cameo leak and the other said they had a breakdown.
This is why I don't put emotional stakes in roster inclusions anymore.
The Ultimate S Rayman moveset is weird because half of the animations look good enough to be official (facial expression aside) and the other half look like an intentionally-crap joke animation
I had a dream where there was a reboot of Tots TV but it was aimed at adults and had nothing to do with the original show except for reusing the set and puppets. It was basically a rip off of Dot Comedy where they explained internet culture and memes. They also had a Smash speculation segment.

i recently found out that jay jay the jet plane has a "christian dub", which sounds like something from a goanimate video but is 100% real. they aren't new episodes or anything, it's just the same episodes but they occasionally add references to god to the script.
and it was funded(?) by one of america's most notorious hate groups.

For as much as I've said about Smash's heavy amount of grass-themed stages, there's a weird lack of forest-themed stages. Like, with big trees that tower over and cover the sun.
Why is the VGFacts page for Itchy & Scratchy Mini-Golf Madness so popular? It only has one fact and is probably the most stupidly obscure spin-off concept imaginable but it's higher on the trending list than Mario 64 and Undertale
I know it's not an actual Nintendo accessory, but the Homework First would be a banger Smash item. Imagine throwing a Homework First at a PK Fire spammer and just disabling all their specials or something.

I feel like the whole sentiment of "animation isn't taken seriously", while very very true in terms of the head honchos of the film and TV industries, is a bit exaggerated when talking about public opinion. Maybe I'm just lucky with the people I've met, but every adult I've talked to IRL about animation knows how long it takes to make, how not all of it is made for kids, how being made for kids isn't a bad thing, usually has a fundamental understanding of the medium's recent history (at least in relation to the common aesthetic shifts) or recognizes names like Chuck Jones and Tom Kenny, and can often mention something animated they really adore (usually Pixar or The Simpsons)

For some reason, I always heard "sticks and stones may break your bones, they seldom let you snooze" in the Spooky Scary Skeletons as "Sticks and stones may break your bones, they sell them lest you snooze" like the skeletons had some kind of weird bone trafficking ring and the only way to protect yourself was to anxiously stay up all night.
The DS version of the James Pond 2 theme sounds like it's depressed. It doesn't sound depressing, it sounds like the original Amiga version of the song became sentient and literally got depressed.
Also, just listened to the original RoboCop theme for the first time, and jesus, how have they gotten away with porting this game to everything under the sun with such a derivative main theme?
The company that programmed Microshaft Winblows has a character cameo in Smash.
The Nintendo Museum feels a bit weird... specifically the fact that it's said to feature "Nintendo products"... not actual artifacts or anything? Do you stare at the Pokemon HGSS walking calculator like it's the Mona Lisa? Because you can get that experience at the local CEX. If it has playable games I could maybe understand, but even then, doesn't feel right if it just all stuff that made it to shelves. It's not like there's "The One Original Mario Kart Super Circuit" or anything.
I think the Pyoro leaks are just like the Grinch Leak in that they're infinitely more notable for having a wacky cartoon mascot. All leaks, fake or otherwise, need wacky cartoon mascots.
